Yep.
Basically a naval-gun sized gatling cannon. 600 rounds per minute. Fires radar-guided manoeuverable air-burst shells.
China you so crazy.
Meanwhile, China is testing their new ground-based air- and ordnance-defense gun. SA-2 76mm AA autocannon.

What is the point of shooting 10 guided 76mm shells per second ?
Either guidance is shit, which thanks to vibrations should be a given, either you're prepared to face a voley of non-stealth and slow cruise missiles passing over your head. Which will not happen since these things rely more and more on complex attack routes.
Also, gatling guns are slow to achieve their max rotation speed. Why not a dual or triple barrel system able to achieve an immediate high firing speed ? This sounds like a better option for area defense or ship protection.
Lastly, where are they going to put all the ammo ?
This sounds like a very bad idea. The concept of a rapid fire 76mm isn't to spread as many lead as possible in the air, it is to expose an ennemy vehicle, guided or not, manned or not, to a sustained voley of fragmentation rounds.
A single of these rounds "hiting" the target, and destruction is almost certain.
What is the point of sending dozens of these flying around ? Except maybe overloading your own radar tracking systems ?
This is stupid.
Same goes for a 76mm land based canon : ammo : where ?
There is a reason why western forces and USSR did not went past 57mm for their self-feeding land based AA guns. And that reason is SPACE.

It's a non-rotary gun that just looks like a gatling.

Yeah, good luck with that, China.

LOL
Everyone just puts their fingers in their ears then casually walks up mid test in shorts and flip flops.
This is why China is advancing so quickly, in a nutshell.

Italy already did it
