Reloading: Not Even Once
googling the pic finds a link with the exploded fun: "The shooter received severely bruised hands, with minor to moderate lacerations to his hands"
bullshit pic
>>31636492
ehhh ive seen worse
>>31636492
I'm guessing that's what you get when you reload a 9mm cartidge with 250 grain.
>>31636958
Its actually what happens when you load 40 S&W up to 10 mm specs
Dude was asking for it to kaboom

Are you really going to trust something written by a guy that calls himself Dr. Pizza?

Those aren't the actual injuries though, right? It seems a little excessive

Paramedic here...
I've never seen or heard of a gun blowing up and doing that much damage. And I know a guy who kept the remains of his completely exploded Super Blackhawk on display and he only had a few scars on his hand.
I'm not saying that a gun couldn't do that, but it seems really far fetched.

>Walk into hospital
>Hey my gun blew up and my hand's all fucked and shit
>Ok go in the first room on the left, Dr. Pizza will be there to see you shortly
>Dr. who?
>No, Dr. Pizza
> thinking about going to the range to shoot my experimental powder coated 40 rounds out of my glock this afternoon
Maybe not...

Paramedic of Norwegian armed forces here. It can happen if you're shooting a gun that lets the forces from the rupturing case/breaking feed ramp right down and to the sides. Obvious that it shattered and all the forces went straight into his palm and thumb.
Can happen with a steel frame too but then it needs to be x much more force. I have seen it happen with a P80 (very old G17s) in Norwegian service that blew up when it had been in a closed-end holster all night during a winter exercise after the soldier had laid down in an almost-frozen swamp and most of him got drenched. The water froze overnight and left a big plug right in front of the chambered blank round (which obviously are loaded very hot). When he pulled the trigger the next day the plastic case failed at the seam with the brass head and all the force went straight out down the gun, into his hand and leaving a deep uneven Y-shaped cut from the top of his palm around the web of the thumb and down into the middle back of the palm. Not sure why the gun wasn't inspected as they usually are several times each day/night on exercise but he didn't. Not sure what became of his hand after as I just saw him getting treated for it and heard the story from one of the guys in his squad.

You know when people say America has lots of gun related homicide compared to say, Canada or Switzerland... And we all shout back about how we have 300 million people and shit. Well there's more glocks in service than nearly any other pistol ever, so just by that metric it will of course have more verified malfunctions. And add that it's issued to and bought by some seriously gun illiterate people, then you really see how dumb you are

Basically what all glock related threads devolve into. They take facts like liberals, no matter how much you put in them they still refuse to notice that they're there.
Pic unrelated

If you compare total numbers made between USGI and civilian sales, Glock and the 1911 are about equal in the ballpark of 10,000,000. There are likely more 1911s than Glocks as I couldn't account for all manufacturers and was only looking at U.S sales. 1911s don't have a reputation for blowing up and injuring people (steel frame helps at the not injuring people part). It's a decent argument, but it falls a little short of convincing.

A glock is a special snowflake gun? Are you literally just mentally disabled or do you say things like that to try and fit in?

Do you have 0 reading comprehension or are you just trying to be this stupid on purpose?
>>31638900
Huh. Great story.
Again, I'mnot saying that it couldn't happen. Just that compared to the kaboom-related firearms injuries I've seen, amputations and whatnot like the OP pic would be a little much.
