What is the best bullup rifle?
SAR-21. No recoil at all

From SG, perchance?

No shit, who else knows about Singaporean guns.
AUG A3

You have it pictured
>>31624761
A1 is lighter
>>31624734
It isn't because the gun is Singaporean. It's because it's a shit gun.

FS2000.
>>31624563
Honestly, you posted it .
>>31624794
That's to be expected, there's more metal on the A3. It's still better than the A1. >>31626954
>no LRBHO
Immediately disqualified. A shame though.
>>31624563
You have it pictured, as much as i love the FAMAS

>LRHO is so critical
I've never gotten this line of thinking.

Releasing the bolt is a shorter, easier motion than charging it again. Loading on a closed bolt isn't ideal, as it may take more force to ensure the mag is completely seated.
>>31627558
It's nice feedback for usage. It's not necessary but in the age of ARs being the cheapest and some of the easiest to customize guns it's gotten pretty popular.
>>31628154
Agreed, I like knowing I'm empty just from the sound and feel of the bolt not going forward.
Shame I'll never get to own one. Lever-delayed, open chamber for ease of clearing malfunctions, really nice controls and ergonomics...literally just give it some sort of forward assist and it would be perfect by my standards. And of course, it's fucking unobtainium in the US.
Why even live?

I must be special, I never use the bolt release or slide release when I reload.
>>31628266
Or just slow
>>31628266
Slide release is understandable
>>31628260
The charging handle is reciprocating, right? Couldn't you use it as a forward assist?
>>31628266
Ehh six in one hand, half dozen in the other. Doesn't hurt to have the functionality. How's the F2000 charging handle? Steyr really needs to fix their fucking knob.
>>31628321
Palm up, first and middle finger on the handle. Completely usable.
>>31628284
Na, takes 1 second at most to just rack the slide/charging handle. Never had an issue doing that. Bolt releases, at least to me, seem sluggish and weak.
>>31628321
I like the charging handle. It pulls away enough to where I'd I have to really try and fuck myself up on some shit.
>>31628337
Look man I know how to use it, doesn't mean it's not shit. I paid damn good money for the rifle. Just make a larger horizontal handle Steyr it's like .30 in parts.
>>31628260
I fully expect F1 parts kits as france replaces them, but G2's? Yeah they'll be keeping them in service.
Most FAMAS produced were F1's anyway
>>31628320
I thought it was non-reciprocating. Looking at the insides of one it basically looks like a really big short-stroke piston.
>>31628368
I prefer the G2, but I would literally kill a man to get either. Hell, even the F1 is pretty nice, and I can work with a 1:12 barrel. I'm working on building an M16A1 clone anyway, so M193 is fine.
>>31628260
I hear famas trigger is shit.
>>31628360
Here you go sweetheart.

>Expecting parts kits
Don't know why you're expecting that. They're either going to one of their former colonies or a furnace.
>>31628408
Meh, so is the trigger on my Mosin, and I shoot just fine with that. At least with long guns I never got the whole "match trigger" thing. It's one thing with handguns where a heavy trigger can really fuck up your shot without training, but I've never had that issue with rifles.
>>31628416
That doesn't change my valid complaint about my gun son.

Wrong image

Does make you a huge bitch though, gramps.

>>31628463
I don't know how I feel about them getting rid of the standard foregrip. I mean I know you can add one easy, but damn if it messes with the aesthetic
>>31628557
Bullpups require a foregrip to look right in my opinion.
P90, I'll eventually hit something before running out of ammunition 10 /10

SAR -21 LE edition
>>31628903
Polymer is the future you cannot deny this.
>metal rusts
>>31628403
You won't have to work with a 1:12 barrel - if it's a parts kit - besides they might destroy the french barrels anyway
>>31628445
Quite a bit of the former colonies already use them, those that don't use something better.
France will probably keep 100k+ F1 for war reserve, will retain the F1 FELIN and G2's.
It's reasonable to assume we'll see F1 parts kits - hell we saw a few SA80 parts trickle over during the A2 refit.
And if we don't well at least we'll get the VHS-2
