I have a chance to get a 1944 hand nugget for 215, it comes with a lanyard, holster, manual, screwdriver and 14rds.
Is there anything i need to look for specifically to ensure im not getting a lemon?

thats the one bucko
Got one for $99 a couple of years back. I love mine and I'd say $215 is still worth it for the history alone.

This. The Soviets apparently did not mind refurbishing even those m/1895s, which had almost completely shot-out barrels. Year 1945 was the last production year and those made in Tula seem to have better reputation.
