Do extended length flash hiders for pinning & welding to <16" barrels do a better job at flash suppression?

Weird question considering there's a 14.3" 5.56 & a 15.3" 7.62x39 in that pic.
Sure, we can buy AKs. We can even get full auto converted to semi with original parts. No cut receivers etc.

Luckily not the case, but a Vz is waaaay cheaper than an AK, so most people get a Vz58/CZ858.

As in real HKs? I can still find HK branded MP5s & G3s, but the 5.56s are hard to find.

As for clones, I can only find full length ones, not the HK53 style ones.

Always had an irrational hard on for those HK53.

I'm not familiar enough with the internals to know how easy (read costly) that would be.

It shoudn't be too bad cost wise. Internally the short and long variants are extremely similar. If you ever want to do one, join the HKPro forums. They are good guys.

How far can i accurately shoot 7.62x39? Im sure after a certain point the trajectory gets fucked like any other bullet.

I kind of want to get a cz 527 carbine but i also want to work towards long range (1000m) shooting. Clearly thats not the rifle for it.
