I hope they deliver. When I sent my shitty railed O-PAP(the one with the single stack bolt) back to CAI, they literally did nothing other than "polish" the feed ramps and other shit. I got it back, and it was still fucked and all they had to do was drop in a correct bolt. Send it in anyway though and see if they replace your gas block. If they somehow do, make a profit on gunbroker and buy a non-shit rifle.

I also spent $700 on mine, but I didn't know jack shit about AKs either. After I got my rifle back from CAI and it still failed, I took it back to the lgs I bought it from, showed the service papers from CAI and traded it for a P0-7. The piece of shit would FTF every other round and I still got a $500 pistol. Months later I bought an Arsenal SAM7r and couldn't be happier 4,000 rounds later. Thought maybe this would help since I've been through this shit.
