Yes, the ECOS is the big money baller's choice.
>>31601949
You can't beat a trijicon, not even close to an abomination.
Its a stopgap thing, in the next 10-20 years it'll have been rendered totally obsolete by the prevalence of variable (think elcan specter) or dual view (think D-Evo) optics. For now its fine, but future generations will look back and laugh at us for having such a massive HoB.
>>31602276
>massive HoB.
It's a nonissue with the ACOG. I thought the same way until I purchased my ECOS. Using it showed me the light so to speak.

What's wrong with height over barrel? It's comfy.
>>31602297
It's all relative. Do I have glass that cost more than my ECOS? Yes. Would a "normal" person ever spring for an ECOS when a Holosun would accomplish everything for him? Fuck no
>>31602297
shittttttt thats an expensive piece of glass.
you could have posted something thermal if you really wanted them to feel poor.
>>31602319
Thermal is for detection
Clip on nods are for shooting

But the world of high speed low drag already went full circle and came to double sights combo. Again.

>stick two optics on the rifle instead.
I really don't understand why people do this.

Combat proven reliability
The RMR mounted that high up puts Russian chinwelds to shame. If you want a red dot with your ACOG/scope mount it off to the side.

for what purpose?
>>31602448
1-6 is slower than a 1x and a 4x
>>31602495
That's 3-18x
Useful for 1000m shots
>>31602448
Speed of transition? Competition shooters been there already and invented offset irons.
>>31602482
>implying the piggybacked RMR is for actually aiming long enough to necessitate a weld of any kind
>>31602424
Lol I saw this too. I mean yeah we all use them but one reason I really like Leupold scopes is the covers. Seems like something a lot of companies miss.
>>31602276
I dunno. A fixed 4x ACOG is pretty great out to 300. I haven't used an Elcan, does the image jump out at you like an ACOG? Good glass is #1 for me.

The one you will ever take, anyway.

Yeah, pretty fucking stupid.
