I never see holster threads on here. If you butt fuckers really actually carry guns, you must have holsters. Let's see them!

Stealthgear is best gear.
>>
I recently got a stealthgear for my Hi-Point. Best decision I've ever made.
>>
>>31601381

Do you even carry? Those holsters look like they never been used.

Really want a stealth gear mini, but my current for my G30 is good.
Will a hybrid tighten up a CZ compact grip/handle enough to not have it poke out at 3-5 o'clock? Because $100 is a lot to invest blindly into a holster, of all things.
>>
>>31601409
Considering 3 of them are brand new, I see your cause for concern. I carry my shield in the mini during the summer. I've only had it since July. The top right one, I've had the longest, almost a year now, and I only use it in the winter months. I carry a Sig P320sc in it. I can't carry at work, so I don't wear any of them during the week and I just throw my lcp in my pocket when I do carry during the week.

CompTac master race. I have a CTAC for every single pistol I own.
>>
>>31601450
It will most definitely help. It hides my shield extremely well, and the full size does the same for my P320 subcompact, but the full size helps redistribute the weight of the gun better.

Sometimes they're just a swing and a miss anon. That's why a lot of people have a drawer full of holsters that keeps building until they bite the bullet and get a stealthgear.

>>
Those stealthgears look nice, but hybrid holsters seem like a hassle compared to the regular kydex ones. Though they do seem alot more comfortable. I have an incog for my g19, it's ok but it gets uncomfortable after awhile.
>>
>>31601870
I find it to be more of a hassle to get my incog in a comfortable position than it is to put on my Stealthgear. I'll take comfort over ease of use any day.
>>
>>31601911
Where do youvwear your gun? I usually try 4 o'clock. Im thinking of trying owb to see if it's more comfortable. Really considering pulling the trigger on one of these stealth gears
>>
>>31601968
I wear my iwb anywhere between 3 and 5 o'clock, so around the same area you do. Owb is obviously more comfortable, but it's harder to conceal...

Buy one man, you won't be disappointed. And if you are, just sell it on eBay, you'll just about get original price for it because people are impatient and don't want to wait 25 days for other to ship.
>>
>>31602036

>>
>>31601568
The USP meme needs to stop
>>
>>31601870
How are you wearing your incog? I used to wear mine at 1:00, basicly one of the clips would fight with my belt buckle. That would cause some pressing of the holster when I would sit down. I've got into the habit of moving my belt buckle over to my left hand pocket, this allows the incog to ride right at 12 and it makes a difference for me.
>>
Anyone have a suggestion for a holster for range carry / home carry? Dont really plan to CC but it would be nice if I could use it for such as well.

Gun is an M&P 9mm
>>
>>31602097
I've never tried appendix carry, usually carry it at 4-5:00. It works for the moment but I'd like to try a few other options. I will say it's a nice upgrade from the aliengear i was using
>>
>>31601526

>>
Can anyone recommend a decent shoulder holster for a cz, 1911, or glock?
>>
>>31602140
Can't, it's a foreigner trade zone, no weapons aloud at all. So I keep it in my car.
>>
>>31602125
I'm a big fan of appendix carry because of that holster. It's a fast draw, and easy to get to in the car. I have small kids so my old faithful hybrid was always printing whenever I bent over.

This is a good place to ask this, I guess. I'm wanting a new holster for general innawoods purposes. I'd like an OWB, preferably paddle, holster. Hard mode: I want one that has a gap between the part that attaches to the belt and the part that actually holds a gun, so that I can wear untucked shirts and jackets without having everything bunched up at my belt like a retard. Any suggestions?

The usp9 and usp40 are both the same size dimensionally, so it'd be safe to get the holster for the usp9.
>>
>>31604314
I used to have one of those cheap Fobus owb paddle holsters for my Walther PPS and it stuck out pretty far. Unless you're wearing skin tight clothes, it shouldn't bunch up on you if you wear an owb holster that rides high and tight.

here's mine, bersa thunder 380cc in the remora sticky with sweat guard, and a jericho 941fs in an alien gear cloak tuck 2.0.
>>
>>31604591
Not really. If you don't have a gut and practice good posture it's not bad at all.
>>
>>31604694

I ordered a remora holster with their sale the other day for my glock 19 imma buy on my 21st... is it really that good?
>>
>>31601664

>>
>>31604814
That's a Shield bruh, and it has an apex trigger, which is leagues ahead of the shit trigger that comes installed.
>>
>>31604694
I also have a alien gear, mines the 3.0 tho. I cant really see much of a difference. I dont have a CHL so i only rarely carry, but it definitely does a good job with my g19.

I'd like a smaller single clip holster in the future as as well to appendix carry.
>>
>>31604314
Sounds like you want a dropped and offset holster like blade tech makes

Safariland and comp tac are also options
>>
>>31604753
weird, you didn't get it yet? The one in my pic was ordered on that sale. Maybe a week ago?

I mean I've been using the remora for like . . . 3 days? And it's great so far.

I also have a leather shoulder holster for the bersa. The shoulder holster is more comfortable since I spend most of my day sitting on ass at work, but it limits my outfits. Which matters because /fa/

But yeah, no complaints about the remora, due to the material it's made of the clip on the outside almost feels like a formality since the things stays in place really well.

>>31604705
>practice good posture it's not bad at all.
I've worn mine at 1 and 11 for shits and it def forces you to maintain posture or get a grip in the guts

>>31604957
yeah I couldn't tell you the diff between 2.0 and 3 without looking it up. Having the 2.0, it does everything I need and is already basically fully customizable any way.

Not sure if I'd trust a single clip concealment holster for a full size pistol. My jericho is def too heavy for it, but that's all steel. Never held a glock so I'm not sure how much they weigh.
>>
>>31604902

Not familiar with that trigger. I don't understand Itd design and why it's shaped the way it is. What type of action does it improve upon?? Can you put the apex trigger on any pistol or certain types?

Can any anon provide insight on whether or not a good IWB holster like StealthGear would make it viable to carry a Sig P226 Mk25 IWB?

I normally carry a Glock 30S IWB during the warm part of the year and once jacket weather shows up I carry my P226 in a Galco Miami Classic shoulder rig (which I love btw). I prefer my P226 over my Glock but I've never been able to find a decent holster for IWB (4-5 oclock) that doesn't print because of the P226's full size.

Do any anons have experience carrying a P226 at that position without printing issues? For reference I'm 5'9" 165lbs, average build.
>>
>>31605165
Don't blame me, he's the one who took it. I'd probably wear it again though if I had some soap and water to make it mine again. The horse hide makes it easy to clean, or something. Not sure why I spent extra for that in the first place but I'm sure there's some benefit.
>>
>>31606003
I thought there was an issue with guns flyong out of the holster with this one
>>
Any recommendations for the Cabin TP9 or TP9v2? Either IWB or OWB, I can comfortably carry either.

The TP9 included holster is so loose it must be a joke, the v2 holster is perfectly fit but sticks out a little too far.

Anything out there that rides snug to the body at any point between 3 o'clock and 6?

My budget is $100...
>>
>>31606962
Canik rather.
>>
>>31606943
variations and cheap knockoffs (of which this could be) do have that complication. it's mostly remedied through training although I have personally seen versions that don't lift the gun up so high as to clear it from the belt (which causes the flying problem).
>>
>>31606943
Not an issue. Guy used the largest possible holster size and purposefully gave it a hard tug to catapult a smaller handgun. Was for comedic reasons. Technically you can do it but not really an issue if you use the right size for your gun and don't yank on it full force.
>>
>>31602983
Stealthgear AIWB or Mini IWB
>>31605076
It's made specifically for the Shield, however, apex sells other trigger kits for other guns, I also have one on my Glock 19. The trigger design itself is nice and is more of a flat trigger than the standard curved trigger that comes installed on the Shield. The kit all together helps reduce trigger pull by a little, it gets rid of the gritty feeling the Shield trigger has, and makes the break much better. If you have a Shield or M&P for that matter, apex triggers are a fantastic upgrade.
>>
>>31601381
This is what mine looks like. Same gun. Galco King Tuk.
>>
>>31606800
With my Stealthgear IWB for my Glock 19, I don't print in a shirt and jeans, but the P226 is a bit thicker and bigger all around, so Idk, that's a lot of gun to carry.
>>
>>31607094
Yeah, that's been my issue, it seems like it's just too large of a gun to carry at that position without printing at all.

What's the consensus on ayylmao Gear holsters? I just picked up a Glock 19 for winter carry (in Texas, Shield is my spring/summer/fall gun), and I plan on throwing an XC1 on it eventually so I don't want to blow a ton of cash on a holster that will eventually get replaced, possibly sooner rather than later.

But really though, they aren't terrible for the price, but they're thick, and made of cheap parts. The neoprene made me sweat like a whore in church, and I could feel the rivets digging into my skin. If it wasn't for their lifetime warranty, people wouldn't buy them, they wear out after a year or more of heavy use.

I need a drop leg holster for hiking since my osprey pack's waist strap prevents me from carrying on my belt line. And I don't like the feel of those chest mounted holsters.

Anything better than the g code with their mule panel?

I'd prefer safariland but it's more expensive and drops too low for what I want

I'd like to know this as well

This one is brand new, but I like it so far. It's really comfortable in the 4/5 o'clock position. Made by a local company called 5B tactical.
>>
>>31618230
I bought something like that from a local company, except mine doesn't have a cant like yours, I wish it did...
>>
>>31619155
Damn the only time I don't like a cant is when I appendix carry... which I would only do concealed... So it kinda defeats the purpose of having a print on it lol.

Do I need an extra mag for concealed carry?
>>
>>31620912
I personally don't use one, but if you can comfortably do it, go for it. More ammo is always better.
>>
>>31620912
No, but it's a damn good idea. I carry two extra. IIRC multi-attacker assaults are becoming more common. So it's not a bad idea if you can do it.

Question for you guys.

So XD's come with a holster and double mag holster that has ticapinny rails on the side. Supposably what I heard is that the rails are for attaching a weaponlight instead of having it on the fire arm.

Now I know I could go get a holster that fits a tlr1 on my g21/30, but I already have a few holsters I like for these firearms.

I'm interested in finding just one kydex mag holder, but has a piece of rail on it so that I can attach my weaponlight.

The only things I can find are over priced piece of rails that clip onto the belt.

Anyone have any ideas? Appreciate help

Is kydex comfortable against bare skin?

I'm looking for an IWB holster for my Kahr CM9. I'm planning to appendix carry. Tight jean, shirts and groups so I need something pretty slim. Any suggestions?

A premolded leather would be great I feel, but honestly I have no idea.

hybrid would be better for comfortability. Look into rawdog.

Thanks a ton dude! retention and price of kydex, comfortability of leather on skin.

I carry a glock 26 with a flush 10rd mag + 1 and a 17rd mag as backup.

Here my philosophy, if i engage 3 assailants at 3rds a piece that leaves me with 2 leftover, having 19 rounds after fighting more people than ill probably ever encounter is like wearing a condom whes shes on BC. It just insurance against the worst.
>>
>>31621236
I always wear an A shirt/wife beater under my shirt to sit between the holster and my skin. Still though, kydex isn't the most comfortable material, a leather or fabric backing would be much more comfortable.

I'm pretty sure carrying a 17 round mag feels better than a condom too

I'm currently carrying 8+1 in my Shield and another 8-round reload. I'm switching over to a Glock 19 in the winter and will probably go 15+1 in the gun and either a 15 or 17 rounder as a reload, depending on what I can fit in my mag pouch (which is just a repurposed Leatherman pouch to make it look like I'm carrying two multitools if my shirt comes up on that side.
>>
Can anyone recommend some decently priced single mag carriers?
>>
Will a leather holster sized for a P2000 fit my P30?
>>
>>31621740
Honestly, other than the rail and trigger guard, I don't see much of a size difference, and with leather, there's always wiggle room.

I have a Bravo Concealment DOS, and I'm somewhat upset that part of the finish near my extractor is rubbed a bit by my pants button because Bravo decided not to cover more of the gun with kydex.

All I'm finding on google is worst case for self-defense and some stuff about rape. Could probably find more with an in-depth search but I'm going to be now.

Either way, still best to be prepared.

Right there with (you) on being best prepared for the worst case. But, gonna insist on a data source before whipping the /k/indergartners into a frenzy. Plenty paranoia 'round here already.

I carry a fullsize (P30) @ 4 o'clock with no problems. It came with the combat cut, but I still had cut it a little bit more of the leather, about 1/4'' to get it where I liked it for a full grip draw.

For the $40 I paid, I have no complaints.

Good leather belt and holster for a Springfield TRP (not the railed model)?
>>
>>31623788
It's not leather, but Daltech's Super Bio belt is pretty good. I know MAC shills pretty hard for them, but for the price they're great. I love mine.
