Longer handguards allow you more space to mount things further forward. Things like lights near the muzzle so you don't have a shadow. It allows you to grab your rifle near the muzzle to help control it.

With mlok and keymod rails you can go longer without it getting too heavy like quad rails.

I was, but precision shooting is super satisfying to me. I have a really nice 16" AR build that shoots great, so this is more about the feels and fun than real performance. I have a Form 1 in for this lower so short barrels aren't a problem. I just think I have anything under ~800yds sorted with my 5.56 shit and anything over that a 30 cal rifle would do better, so this lower is just for fun.

Just add an ambi catch. You don't need an ambi lower for that.

Bad lever isn't even that useful as a bolt release, but rather as a bolt hold open for right handers. It's faster to just press the bolt release with your left hand.

If you're left handed, it's easier to just press the mag release with right hand. It's not much slower and you get added benefit of standardizing manual of arms. With a bad lever, you can release with left hand or right hand.

It's really weird. Front works perfectly fine but the rear pin won't go in all the way, only about 80% of the way than it just locks up until I pull it back out.

I looked into the takedown pin hole and I can see the entire pin clearly so I don't think it's an obstruction on part of the receiver.

It's really bizarre.

I didn't want to force it so I'm afraid of going full hulk-mode on it to get it to fit. Like I said, front works just fine, back pin goes all the way in only when the receiver is off.

DH, PMAGS with dust covers, and Lancers are all g2g. I would assume Hexmags are okay, but I don't know if there are enough cases of them being used enough to be 100% sure. That being said, I'd still use them over something like a ProMag or aluminum mags with black followers.

its a bit small for my tastes but I also purchase larger than normal Ifaks and have them stocked to treat 2 GSW's in addition to the other standard items such as NPA, Med tape, 14 Gauge needle. For my other people medical supplies its a mugh bigger set up.

The PSA freedom stuff is good for the money.
Also, be wary of going from rifle to pistol. I think that's one of those fuzzy areas that the ATF would gladly Fuck you on. Pistol to rifle is fine though.
