Ugly guns

Personal opinion: I think that Glocks look great.

Well the Walther looks meh, but the grip of the hipoint makes me want to vomit, it's like they wanted to go with one aesthetic with the slide but had another idea for the grip.

I haven't handled that many Walthers ( A P22, PPK and a CCP ). The Hi Point I handled, everything about it screamed cheap. It was clunky. The slide was just terrible. Not only looking, but the over all feel of it. Personally, I like the look of the HK 45 USP. Glocks are, well, glocks. They all pretty much look the same. I have a couple Springfield's XD series I like the looks of. I have a Ruger that I guess could be considered " ok " looking.

The ppx is walthers least aesthetic gun and I agree it is as ugly as a hi point.

The Ruger American is just an uggo and makes glock look like beretta.

Popped a boner at the sight of the PL14.
It's just that the slide looks too wimpy on the gun. You look at the trigger guard and the grip and you think "Ohohoh baby this is some serious gu-" and then you see the slide.

It was H&Ks first foray into commercial handguns.

There are bigger issues than the design of the trigger guard.

Like the stupid nylon buffer under the mainspring. The shitty mag release. The dumb grip design. The shitty caliber swapping system.

The HK4 is neat, but horribly flawed.

a lot of pistols look fine in photos like cars, but seeing them in person is another matter. When you can fully take in the dollar store plastic and crude proportions of a Hi Point in person and feel the lack of tactile polish with bulk you understand why they're called "cheap" a little better. Walthers feel like they belong in your hands and have functional dimensions that make them an ergonomic creation.

The Neos is another pistol that looks great in a picture but feels like a course, heavy pistol with a disconcerting grip angle and feels like it squeezes the frame's weight into your thumb.

Tokarevs look retarded with that bizarre grip and bulge but I haven't handled one so I take the user's word for it.
