SA has many minerals. Licences are hard if you don't go to the right dealer. If you go tp the correct dealer an increase in fee makes the system work on the side of the SAPS. They kind of are and the individual kaffir can be volatile but otherwise it pretty ok. Hard to find a job as a white guy unless you have a qualification that not many people hold so I assume you would find work with relative ease. Sum up you can own weapons like the Amerilards do (with licensing) and you can own self defense weapons too.

Pretty good. Our winters can get to about -1 degree C. The food is actually a more raw in a way style of cooking. It uses the natural flavors of the land. Without having tried it its hard to comprehend. Very nice though. Also braai (Afrik word for fry) or bbq as you would call it is the most popular way of meat preparation. But dude lots of sun here and in Joburg there are many places that feel like a 1st world country.

It is called pegging. Back when the Army had BDU's this is how I did my pant legs.

A Chinese Type 63 rig would be your best bet if you want actual surplus - Holds five magazines (though you'll have to modify the flaps to accommodate 30 round mags; the thing is designed to hold the Type 63's proprietary twenty-rounders) and costs around 20 bucks.

It's gone too far. I had a dream about finding camo last night. It was the most beautiful pattern you could ever imagine. I've been working all day to try to do a drawing of it, but it's just not right yet. I'm going crazy trying to draw it, I'm 100% certain that it doesn't actually exist.

It was the ruski afghanka cut with the big grey fur collar in a pattern that's hard to describe. Like a combination of a red based French lizard sectionalized into smaller segments like in a mix of South Korean swirl & puzzle patterns and Iranian brushstroke & islands patterns.

I went to a surp shop in Georgia, was some old fucker running the place who had LOADS of Korea and Nam stuff (not camo, sadly. Itchin for some ERDL) for dirt cheap. I picked up one M-65 fishtail shell for $10, going to go back and get the rest later this week.

He asked me why I wanted "this old shit" when I could just get new stuff "like what I just got in" he said, as he held up a packing slip from a HUGE box of rothco stuff he had been struggling to open up while I was there.

He also had loads of UCP and OCP stuff, but 99% of it was beat to shit as his store buys a lot of stuff from soldiers, and there's a big army base right near there.

Does it depress anyone else how many Surplus Stores end up going out of business? So much surp they have thrown away, or sold for way way too cheap. Sort of shitty how most stores that are open just carry Rothco crap or UCP.
