I would actually agree.

If you have paid only $50 for it, then you shouldn't mind getting ripped off at by the gun dealer.
Just take it to the gun store and take his first offer that's above $50.
I would 8aell it for 450 in a heart beat.
Price check on a metric fal
Price for something like this? And price for a decent, reliable AR

$550 new
$400 used
Ar-15 build your own for $600 especially with black Friday. Buy 800-$900
Tempting both right now, how do I decide on which to get first
>>31584216
Pay them $200 to take it off your hands.

Ar first
Looking to buy a used GSG 522 on the cheap. Is 200$ a decent price to ask? Trying to stay under 300
>>31590088
GSG a shit, look for a Walther though
>>31590115
I don't mind if it's shit or not just so long as it's cheap, hell even Saturday night specials give me a boner.
What's attractive about the 522 is that the same company also produced airsoft MP5's of the same build quality but even CHEAPER, and those parts can be found online for dirt cheap.
So if I wanted to SBR it, I could exchange an airsoft folding stock on it and the handguards and stuff and it'd work. Neat little gimmick.

You said build it yourself rifle is cheaper on black friday? Which website specifically, a cousin recommened PSA but could have sworn that not a lot was in stock
Is OP open to trades? I'm interested at 450.

you can build an AR right now for barely over $500. A rifle kit from PSA for $400 shipped, a $50 (+NICS) stripped Anderson lower, a $10 magazine, and a $40 Magpul rear sight gets you a functional gun. The PSA rifle kits go as low as $350 during sales.
