Wait. FNH in Belgium makes these? I thought FN USA was the sole producer desu.
>>
>>31561181
He doesn't look too pleased.
>>
>>31561161
>>31561181

Memes aside, they're really fantastic guns. My FNX is my favorite gun.
>>
>>31561138
Theyre nicer than glocks at a lower price point, FN just doesnt into advertising. Ive got the FNS9 and the FNX45 tactical. They are my pistolfus.
>>
>>31561384
are mags expensive?
>>
I'm intrigued by the FNX 45 Tactical, but at that point I think I'd just save my money and get myself a Mk23. Not saying one is better than the other; I just would rather get a Mk23.
>>
>>31561138
awesome on paper but the least pleasant to shoot handgun i own. my fnx-9 feels like it's chambered in 40 s&w but that's my only real complaint
the fnx has a much better factory trigger than the fns
>>
>>31561138
My FNP9usg has something like 10k or more rounds down the pipe now. I've never been able to make it jam. Not even upside down limpwristing with Tula ammo.

Thing is a tack driving, unstoppable monster.

Best of all I got it in 2010 new in a box with 3 mags for $425
>>
>>31561491
That's because you got a full-size pistol designed on a .45 in 9mm. Like getting a V6 Mustang. It's a large frame for large hands. My FNP-45 is a dream and the flattest shooting .45 I own.
>>
>>31561138
An FNX would be my first choice if I had to get a polymer pistol.

I think it's neato that they make a hammer-fired polymer gun that can be carried cocked and locked.

Down the road I might get one or two just because.
>>
>>31561502
I suppose snappiness makes sense then if it's literally down scaled proportionally from 45.
I don't see what that has to do with a v6 mustang though considering the only difference is the engine in that case whereas the frame size is markedly different between 9/40 and 45, if anything that analogy would suggest the 9/40 would be easier to handle.
>>31561558
>can be carried cocked and locked.
I prefer to carry it de-cocked, which is another nice feature, true ambi-safety/decocker.
>>
>>31561833
>Only difference is v8
Learn more aboot cahs m8
>>
>>31561856
What difference is there that cannot be traced back to the engine?
Is the chassis larger to accommodate the extra cylinders?
>>
>>31561161
>>31561181
I have a FNX45 and I haven't been able to squish it like that. Either I didn't use a heat gun before hand to soften the plastic or I just don't have the gorilla hands required.
>>
>>31561211
It was originally produced in Belgium and imported as the Browning Pro 9.
>>
>>31561445
About 20-30 per, definitely get em online.
>>
>>31561502
You know, aside from a mustang being a smalls car to begin with, with both the mustang and 9mm generally adhering light and fast.

More like a buying a 6cyl charger
>>
Really want an FN pistol, but know next to nothing about them. What's the difference between the -X, -S, and -P designations?
>>
>>31561856
It was a shitty analogy anon just move on

So ypu will spend an extra $1000 for the mk23. That holds fewer rounds, cant mount a red dot, and has a proprietary rail that only a few lights will bolt to. Not to mention the retarded theead pitch on the barrel dor a suppressor.

Or. You get a $1000 pistol, and a $600-800 suppressor, plus a red dot like the burris or vortex . And still come out cheaper.
>>
>>31561138
>Ultra non-slip
Honestly what makes it ultra? It's fucking checkering, not gorilla glue.

Also, who even uses lanyard loops on pistols anymore? I know it's not an FN specific thing, but still, aside from the "better to have it and not need it" argument, where is there a use for it?

Just purchased a FNX9 a couple days ago. I am extremely pleased with it. The stock sights are thicc and easy to pick up on. Ergonomics are great. Havent been able to put it down since ive bought it. All around great pistol
>>
>>31562153
P is no longer made. It was replaced by the x. The magazines are not compatible ( hammer fired da/sa pistol)

The S is the striker fired line.
>>
>>31561138
bretty gud.

Really awesome price @ $400. Good quality, good ergos. Grips a little prickly for my taste. Only thing that sucks is the after market.
>>
They're neither the best, nor the worst.
>>
>>31562210
That's a lot simpler than I thought, thanks.
>>
>>31561468
The FNX holds 15 rounds. Also, everything this guy said: >>31562187

>>31562189
Where do you put your anime keychains?
>>
PSA has a great deal on them right now if anyone is interested.

I'd link but site seems to be down right now. But it's on their front page deals for $399.

Good choice. I've had mine for over a year and still finger fuck it all the time. If the boot lip mag plates bother you. I found that glock plates fit just fine, even the +2 extensions work flawlessly if you don't give a shit and want 19+1.

Reminder that PSA has killer shipping fees as well as their current deal having a manual safety. You can almost always find better deals on gunwatcher for guns.
>>
>>31562133
Dang, where did you find that price? I've been seeing 44 bucks.

I like my FNS-9C a lot. Have over 1k rounds through it without a function issue. The grip is very comfortable for my average sized hands, and the checkering provides a ton of traction. Much more comfortable to me then "other" polymer striker fired guns. My only complaint is it seems to hit low for me, though I can easily compensate for it.
>>
>>31562332
This may have been free shipping, I can't remember
>>
>>31562153
p is the original old striker model
s is the current striker model
x is the da/sa hammer model
the 45s have a much larger frame
as stated no magazines are compatible between p/s/x models
not sure what the actual differences are between p and s

You've never even driven one have you let alone seen one, those things even look fucking heavy

>>31561896
Chassis reinforcement with sway bars etc
Stronger transmission and driveline because believe it or not a v8 makes more power than a v6
Stiffer suspension which results in better handling
Limited slip differential for better handling and sick skids and burnouts with both wheels instead of a pathetic burnout where only one tire spins
Bigger and better brakes
Body kit and stickers for 100 extra horsepower

There's more but I can't remember it all right now.

A pistol like that is going to be a novelty anyway, and if I'm already getting a novelty, I might as well get the gun I've wanted since I was kid.
>>
Should I get the FNX or FNS?
>>
>>31566620
Fnp
>>
>>31561181
um, is it supposed to do that?
>>
>>31561138
I liked the fns9 , had it and it ate everything from steel to aluminum to brass without a hickup. Did sell it though because I like the grip of the beretta better.
>>
>>31562568
The p was not a striker it was da/sa hammer.

How do i know, i own a fnp
>>
>>31566259
Then you should also get the $1200 kac suppressor and the $1500 laser
>>
>>31561161
Maybe squishing is better than breaking?

>>31561181
Looks like a horse vagina, just fill it up with bad dragon lube and fuck it.
