I know this sounds like a shitty answer, but call the CFP hotline. Since you're doing a Restricted transfer, chances are you're gonna have to make a few calls anyway.

is talking about. The 8mm stripper clips work with .30 cal cartridges (.308/7.62x51, 30-06), so I just use those. I'm using steel-cased norc ammo so sometimes I do get some extraction issues, but they're no big deal. I haven't tried shooting those Austrian surplus though (brass cased).

I'm tempted to get another actually on cgn and possibly mount an optic on it. But in the mean time I'm looking for a Norwegian in 30-06.
