It's the Arabic symbol for "N", which is used to represent Nazareth (the birthplace of Jesus) and Arabic Christians, specifically Assyrians.

In Iraq and Syria, over 230,000 Christians have been murdered by muslims in a genocide that started a couple years ago.
The muslims would paint the "N" on the homes of Christians, and then the armed muslims would come and murder the families that lived there.
Many places are selling patches and t-shirts to raise money to help the ACTUAL refugees of the middle east.
Most of the world's governments won't even acknowledge that it's happening.
