Post your PCCS. Also, kel tec sub 2000 vs. Hi point carbine in 9mm. Will either reliably feed winchester 147 grain Ranger?

I like PCCs and subguns, they're so pleasant.

Anyone make a .32ACP carbine or rifle?
I know there was some old target rifle from Germany styled as an M16A1, but which was actually a blowback .32 that took pistol magazines (there being a fake 20rd magazine in the gun which is actually the magwell for the pistol magazine)

Ah, I found that one, the Armi Jäger AP74
>>
>>31554774

I have a Nagant I converted to .32 ACP. Single shot, permanently sealed chamber insert (cost about $13-20). It was already sporterized and barrel cut down to 18" by previous owner, which makes it ideal for .32 ACP. Modified the ejector so it grabs the .32 instead of the insert.

Lots of old .32 rimfire rifles around too, like Stevens. Many of those were converted to .32 S&W and .32 ACP over the years.
>>
>>31554807
I've heard that .32ACP conversions (permanent or sleeve inserts) of full-sized .30 caliber rifles are supposed to have a very gentle report, almost like silent, is that true?

Also does the gun have a working magazine?
>>
>>31554830

I had considered modifying it to accept a Spanish Ruby magazine but never got around to it. Would require more work than I'm willing to do.

And yes, virtually no recoil and it's very quiet compared to x54. Not silent but it's a world of difference.

I use it for rabbits and other small game.

The MPX is the only good answer to the need for a PCC. It eats everything I feed it. Got some shit reloads from a family freind that were too weak to even eject brass out of a Glock and M&P but the gas system let it cycle flawlessly. I shoot 147 whenever possible since that is my typical bullet weight for defense.

Ketec
>shit trigger
>Shit safety can disable the gun
>non folding sights
>no last round bolt hold open
>piss poor charging handle location
All it has for it is its ability to take Glock, Beretta, or M&P mags

Hi Point
>Unnecessarily heavy
>bulky
>10 round mags
>Non folding sights
>Spring loaded recoil pad for all that recoil
At least it runs better than the lelkek and has one more caliber option for those who must have a .45

Wrong pic. Dickin around with photoshop before I actually chopped everything down. Settled on the K variant. Once I get a suppressor I'll go back to a full length hand guard to keep it short and quiet.
>>
>>31555145
While the mpx may be a very good choice for pistol caliber carbine, you have to keep in mind that it's far too expensive for many people on /k/
>>
>>31555168
The CZ is a nice runner up for something in the $1000 range (completed) and holy shit is it light as an SBR.
>>
>>31555252
>The CZ is a nice runner up for something in the $1000 range (completed)
Define completed.. I got my scorpion for $750 and I'm looking at sinking at least that much more into it before it's (completed)

I guess it could be $1000 completed if you only add a brace and no optics or aftermarket parts
>>
>>31555145
>shit trigger
I haven't had a problem with it
>Shit safety can disable the gun
See above
>non folding sights
The rear one does while collapsing the gun. Or did you mean BUIS?
>no last round bolt hold open
It's not an AR
>piss poor charging handle location
Did it hit your tits?
>All it has for it is its ability to take Glock, Beretta, or M&P mags
And fold in half, weigh 2 lbs less, cost a fraction of the SIG and isn't a tryhard neutered SMG.

You'very had issues? I haven't had a fowl up since I got mine. What version was it?
>>
Been considering a sub2k in 9mm but cant find them in stock at any gunstore in my entire state. Only used. I am considering a hipoint 995 in 9mm with the ATI furniture on it since its just so cheap and hipoint has 20 round mags finally.
>>
>>31556134
i had a 2013
i had 3 failures per magazine
took it to a gunstore to see if they could fix it. they could not, admitted to making it worse so they basically gave me store credit for 100 less than what i paid
>>
>>31556216
and kept the gun

and that was at least 3 failures per mag
>>
>>31556225
What kind of mags? Did they work in a compatible pistol?

Sucks that it failed. Sometimes I feel like I'm in an alternate universe where Kel-tecs work, my Saiga 12 loves birdshot and remshit Golden Bullets cycle reliably.

Hi-Point has 20rd mags for the 9mm Luger guns now. Also you can put your own sights on the thing if you get an ATI stock.

I mean, it obviously will not be even close to as nice as the MPX, but it's not a bad carbine for a modest price.
>>
>>31556278
>my Saiga 12 loves birdshot
Did you buy it used? A common thing to do with a Saiga 12 was to ream the gas-port to allow it more gas from lower-pressure shells, making it much more reliable.
>>
My Cx4 has had zero hiccups after around 6000 rounds from me of all types of ammo and however may rounds the previous owner put through it. I love this gun. My only complaint is that the trigger is meh.
>>
>>31555145
MCARBO fixes most of those sub2k issues.
>>
>>31554774
VZ 61 Skorpion
>>
>>31558069
That's a pistol though, I don't count it as a rifle even if you put on a stock, because I'm not the ATF

A proper rifle-stocked gun with a 16" barrel and feeding from Scorpion magazines would probably be a very nice plinker, kind of like a 10/22 but more expensive for no good reason.
