I keep getting close to buying one. Every time, I stop myself, though. If that thing breaks, it would be a pain in the ass to find parts, as Bushmaster's website still doesn't work, and the accessories are next to impossible to find.
Even Remington Defense canceled their ACR program, so it's only a matter of time before Bushmaster cans this as well. Perhaps some day, Magpul will create their version the way they intended.

I thought the only reason anyone wanted these were to mod them out like an AR, but with better ergonomics and caliber swaps.

Just get an ARAK-21. Pretty much the same functionally, but you can slap it on any old AR lower.
