I'm happy with suppressed AR pistols. For anything more serious, it's AK's. After getting a few AK's my opinion is put the money down for a 104 style AK. It will hold up to modern alternatives in any other "assault" raifu comparison.

Your battle sight zero is dead on at 25m and 300m it will be a little off inbetween but not enough to make a differance aiming center mass on a human size target, so if you want to shoot point of aim at 100m or 200m then just set the sights to those ranges.

As for zeroing in a rifle theres are multiple ways and youtube is your best friend

Im not sure if anyone has suffered personal injury, but the barrels doing the Harlem shuffle in the trunnion and causing an issue with headspace will eventually cause the thing to fire out of battery and send shrapnel outwards. I've only shot 1k round out of my Slr106 but I have had zero malfunctions of any kind. I shoot PMC Bronze 55gr and Tula 62gr.

Just stay away from Promags and you should be OK. Some early SLR106s had feeding problems but the issues have been fixed for like a decade now.
