Around $1600-$1800 is what I'm willing to spend just on the rifle I have some set back for a red dot or potentially a 1-4x or 1-6x scope.

I didn't think the heavy barrel would be a huge deal for HD as I'm not gonna be lugging it around for miles and miles.

And I figured with an adjustable stock it would be manageable. My only other rifle has a 20" barrel with A2 stock and its not too bad moving around my house with it and really nice outside.

I'm in a somewhat rural area but I also live near a major highway. Lots of open space but a very well traveled and popular area. Possible for it to be blocked off and nearby houses fucked with if the local PD shoots a kid who just wanted to spread the word of Jesus and go to college to play basketball.

So I put a H2 buffer + blue enhanced power spring in this rifle and the ejection only moved from 1 to 2 o'clock. I think I need to try the red enhanced power spring from sprinco. The recoil is much better now, felt like a .308 before.
