What pistol would pair with an SKS?
tokarev
Obrez.
>>31530182
this and only this
>>31530178
>pairing pistols with long guns
I never understood this. Do you want a period correct pairing, or do you want to compensate for the SKS's obvious flaws, i.e. California style low capacity? If the latter, then a Glock 17 should be a good pair for it.
>>31530178
Hand nugget, Tok or mak.
All were in service at the time of it's service.
Can't decide if I should buy the meme rifle or an argentine Mauser
>>31530192
Are you autistic, by any chance?
>>31530204
Are you intellectually impaired to such a degree that you can't answer a simple question?
>>31530215
yep, you're autistic. sorry to hear m8.
>>31530220
>can't explain "pairing" pistols with long guns when asked directly to explain it
>accuses other people of being autistic when he can't explain himself
Stay retarded, /k/.
>>31530234
>acts like a tard
>gets upset at being called a tard
Lel, typical subhuman.
It's obvious he's talking about a historical pairing, and if you can't comprehend the point, you have no place anywhere except in special ed. and judging about how mad you are, you're going into what we call a "tard rage"
don't beat your handlers now, they did nothing to you.
>>31530252
>>hurr durr why you acts like tard
I'm giving you a chance to explain yourself. So far, all you've proven is that you are unable to interact with adults in any kind of productive capacity.
>>31530269
LOL TARD RAAAAGE
>>31530269
>how dur u call me out on my social ineptness and inability to understand
uh huh, go play in the sandbox while the adults are talking. i'll give you a chance to learn something later.
>>31530178
SKS and Mak seem like they'd be a good pair.
>>31530178
Makarov
Hand nuggets and Tokarevs are too old school to go well with this new age wondergun.
Pair mine up with my CZ-52 or 82 since I don't have a tok or a mak. Need to get sum long gun czechnology for correct pairing though.
>>31530290
The SKS saw limited trial runs in the battle for Berlin. It was designed in 1945.
>>31530442
Right over your head, hey?
>>31530178
Quick fashion question.
Tek 9 with the high tops?
Uzi with the low tops?
>I'll just wear dese den.
>>31530178
Well, a good carbine\ pistol pair should share ammo, so this could work.
>>31530903
Also an option.
>>31530910
>>31530910
Or, if concealability is a concern, this would be the best choice.
>>31530910
I wonder where and when this picture was taken
>>31530910
While I find this highly disturbing, I'd kinda love to try that out.
>>31530252
Not tard
I thought he was asking which pistol matched that sks stock.
Like when you match a purse to a dress!
;)
>>31530910
Would that thing even work?
>>31530951
Iraq around 2008ish.
>>31531008
Not in semi sadly, no gas system.
>>31531049
I was worried about that. I don't know SKS that well. But I'd love a obrez'd SKS, on top of a normal one. Still, I think even straight-pull bolt-action 7,62x39 pistol would be cool.
And yes, I have a thing for abominations, pic related.
>>31531160
Anon wat r u doing????
>>31531243
Not my work, sadly. I just like these post-apo-ish builds. As far as I know, that rifle is some Metro 2033 "fanart" or whatnot.
>>31530324
Are you me?
As the warrior poet Wocka Flocka Flame once said, "Glock 9 and SK if you want to beef"
>>31530182
I'd say makarov because just like sks it's filled with stupid, outdated features when it was released.
SKS-
>no changeable mags
>clip doesn't eject have to pull it out manually, something even k98 could manage
>okay bottle opener, poor rifle
Mak
>overly heavy
>inaccurate
>slide mounted safety
>heel mag release
>single stack magazine
>great bottle opener, horrible pistol
>>31531998
Mak
>overly heavy
The weight is needed because 9x18 in a straight blowback is really fucking snappy.
>inaccurate
The fuck? It has a fixed barrel, they're extremely accurate if you do your part.
>slide mounted safety
How is this a problem? It's not like a Beretta. That safety also acts as a decocker and it's very positive.
>heel mag release
You can get really fast with that. Shit's not hard, bro.
>single stack magazine
Ok, that's a flaw for some, but it makes the pistol pretty thin and small.
>great bottle opener, horrible pistol
Great bottle opener, even better pistol. Fuck your own face, please.
>>31532016
>The weight is needed because 9x18 in a straight blowback
And there's better methods of operation so you don't have to make your shitty pistol so fucking heavy.
It's fine for a military pistol (basically an ornament for rank that will never be used) for the era I guess, but that doesn't make it not a horrible pistol today.
>>31531160
RPK with a ghetto windowed mag, meh.
I also have a thing for abominations, and that doesn't even make it move.
I can get better straight from the factory. Pic related.
>>31532016
>muh pistol great because glorious slav engineering
Nigga I come where it was standard issue before budgets got good.
It is VERY widely regarded as a throwing weapon.
>>31531998
>overly heavy
It's all steel, for it's size it's fine.
>slide mounted safety
Not a problem.
>>31532016
>because 9x18 in a straight blowback is really fucking snappy.
Not particularly, it's close to .380, which is rather mild to handle.
>It's not like a Beretta.
It's not a problem on a Beretta either, their safety is very deliberate, to the point that you can safely and reliably use them as cocking wings.
>>31532073
>And there's better methods of operation so you don't have to make your shitty pistol so fucking heavy.
It's a pocket pistol kind of cartridge, you don't really need a locked breech or short recoil operation for it to work. It might make it a bit nicer to handle and shoot, but that's another issue.
>but that doesn't make it not a horrible pistol today
It really doesn't, aside from maybe the weight, it has no standout flaws, it's comparable to a Walther PP or Bersa Thunder, that is to say "ok".
>>31532142
I've also heard of the Walther P1 (a locked breech pistol operating on short-recoil), described as "8 warning shots and an aimed throw", so you'll have to excuse me if I don't take a conscript's word for it.
>>31532105
Hurk. Man, is that ugly.
The ghetto windowed mag is the smallest thing there. I should clarify that I have a thing for slavshit-like, postapocalyptic abominations. Or the like. Imagine Chechen nigga-rigs, some Borderlands stuff, etc.
>>31531998
>>31532142
You're just stupid b8. Pistol is fine.
>>31530987
Does anyone make east german strichtarn repro fabric? We should get one of the sewfags in here to get a bolt of it, and make a simple sun dress with it. Then it would match with a surplus field pack. Done.
>>31531998
>overly heavy
Not a feature, just a result of basic materials, aluminum would have cost more
>inaccurate
It has good inherent accuracy, it's straight blowback, so it's got at least as good accuracy potential as any other pistol of it's time.
>slide mounted safety
Was never out of date.
>heel mag release
I'll give you that, thumb magazine release is superior.
>single stack magazine
Not atypical at the time, looking at the 1911A1 still in service, the Walther P1 and P4, as well as the Beretta M1951 (and the old .380 Beretta still in service), the Vz52 comes to mind too (even though that isn't a very good pistol)
>great bottle opener, horrible pistol
Nothing horrible about it, overall, it's entirely acceptable for what it is.
