Not all JHP are created equal, the shitty ones might as well be FMJ... So I found a good brand that I could put 100 rounds through my defensive pistol with no malfunctions and stocked up on just that. Everything else is FMJ in probably a 10:1 ratio.

They cost 50 cents per round when you buy online

your life is worth considerably more than 50 cents

I carry the best and train with the rest. That's my opinion. It's really not too difficult to use two different kinds of ammo.

I shoot PPU in my 10mm Glock 20 for practice, but after watching gel tests, I've lost faith in it as a good defensive round. Does it penetrate? Yes. Does it expand reliably? NO. By all means, use the cheap shit to practice, but keep a box of good ammunition around.

The only thing I've heard about PPU priv partiz was that its 357 is considerably hot which appeals to me.

PMC would be my next choice for 357.
