Have you considered practical shooting, or is it just depression sapping the life out of you?
>>
>>31512617
I wish I could go to the range.

No time.

No money.

But seriously, it's time for you to seriously change up your range experience. Try a new range. Get some new targetry. Maybe try working on some drills. Drawing, speed, whatever. That might reinvigorate your desire to go to the range.
>>
Shooting steel a best
>>
>>31512617
Go to a more dynamic range. go outdoor range and shoot steel. shoot 3 gun.fuck idk man.
>>
>>31512617
Try climbing a clock tower in Austin at the University of Texas.
>>
>>31512629
I kinda know how he feels.
The local range near me is kinda lame.
I want to shoot more than two shots at a time.

Time to go innawoods
>>
>>31512660

Everyone's at ACL wouldn't do much.
>>

>time to go innawoods

As the dude you're replying to and as a guy who has never been to the range only target shooting in the woods. I think you'll like it.

It's too much of a hassle packing my things up and I can never get my rifles zeroed. Also my range is extremely restrictive and I can never do drills, draw or rapid fire. The same old shooting at a b8 at 7 yards slowly, it's killing me.

I'm at a point where I would literally pay someone $30 to properly zero my two rifles and have them confirmed at 100.
>>
>>31512697
>and I can never get my rifles zeroed
How is that possible? You aim at the center and fire. Then adjust accordingly.
>>
>>31512715
I can get them fairly dialed in at 25 yards but I try to confirm it at 50 and I cannot see anything and my groups get thrown off. I have 20/20 vision too but trying to aim with my ak sights and get a tight group prone is too hard for me. Even worse how there's no charts for zeroing in yards with 5.45 so I'm not sure where I should be hitting exactly at any given distance.

This is partially the reason why I like handguns more than rifles, there's visually more feedback. I might just go right now with my handguns only.

I'm lucky that I live in WA and down south far enough that a 30 min drive will take me innawoods.
Range shooting is kinda boring desu.
I own a shotgun so I only ever shoot skeet.
The guys at the club are very uptight also
>tfw no slug range

Time to plan a trip!
>>
>>31512744
Literally just aim at the middle, fire 4 shots.
Walk to the target, figure out the center of those 4 shots, measure the distance to the bullseye horizontally and vertically. Then adjust accordingly.
Fire 4 more shots.
Repeat as many times as necessary.

Are you Hillary?
>>
>>31512886
Every single 203 grenade needs a tax stamp as a destructive device. Unless you are a millionaire, the cost is unheard of to own and operate an M203.

Under Hillary, every single bullet will be categorized as a destructive device. $6,000 for a full 30 round mag sound appetizing?

Vote Trump.

haven't done much with rifle since 2012, my uncle just claims he doesn't have my rifle and nobody in my family is brave enough to risk getting shot by that crazy cunt. I've had to bet a new rifle. I didn't have one for two years. finally get one and start tooling it up. take it to the range in july and realize I need to retool it for long range shooting. it's been four months, I still need scope rings... then I can focus on getting a stock that isn't fudd fiber.

If I ever ascend above poorfag status Imma just buy my own land outside of the city.

This is how I realized I was depressed. I've been obsessed with firearms since I was 11 and then one day I just didn't feel like shooting anymore, total anhedonia.

Stimulation of all sense is a huge source of pleasure. Any sources of numbness cuts stimulation and thus pleasure from activities like shooting.

Do you remember vividly what the range smelled like the last time you were there? Do you have dryness in your mouth when you wake up in the morning? Do you snore?
You might have allergies if so, so try a 3rd gen antihistamine.

Do you drink coffee regularly? Do you "sleep" more than 10 hours on the weekend?

Poor sleep inhibits judgement and importantly senses. (tolerance for coffee comes within 2 weeks for most people, it's not actually helping at that point, just helping you float at baseline)

Exercise and at the very least don't touch a computer for an hour before bed. If you "sleep" more than 10 hours, you're probably trying to make up for inefficient broken sleep..

I'm on the other side of the spectrum.
>be in Southaven, MS
>no friends to go out to properties with
>local ranges are indoor pistol only
>outdoor ranges are private only
>initiation fee + first year membership is as much as another AR
Seriously fuck this place
I miss my crappy federal ranges and my cousins property.

>always had guns in the house growing up
>always enjoyed shooting with my family, friends
>never had guns through college, just never made sense
>finally graduate and move out on my own
>after saving up a couple thousand dollars, buy a rifle and a couple pistols
>shoot them for a while, CC the pistol for a year
>eventually the pistol stops getting tucked into the waistband
>eventually the pistol never leaves the nightstand
>eventually you've just got $5000 worth of inert steel collecting dust, just because you used to love shooting

I need to start a family.
