1. Yeah it has, is your Johnson still broken? 2. I haven't been part of EDN even since the last time we talked lel.

I didn't like the way the JPC sits. AVS was comfy enough, but that was just trying my friend's on in my bedroom.

>>
>>31513011
Colors work great where I'm at. Live in a densely green area with tans and red clay.

Bag is a proper bias
>>
>>31513026
No, boof fixed it a long time ago. Not taking it to the coming fest but next PA one. Oh, sorry about EDN I guess? Hows your AR? Hows all the dudes I pissed off so much?
>>
>>31513052
I don't give a shit about EDN; I met a few cool people and left the autistic ones to themselves. AR is fucking trashed for now but I'm going to take the shitty gun shop that did it to small claims court. The people you pissed off are trying to mutiny with a discord but it won't last once they realize the voice quality is shit and nobody wants to talk to them because they're the reason teamspeak started dying anyway.
>>
>>31513086
Im impressed they are all still going there. Thats some dedication. Sorry about your AR you always talked about it/were so proud of it. My AR is just A3gery still lol. Whats your PC and why did you go with just 3 mag pouches and so minimalist?

>>31513049
No fuck you your colors suck and if you were ever to have to use "camo" you'd get fucked because those aren't natural colors next to each other. At least gray and khaki work with multimeme. Where in nature do you fucking see dark green next to cookies?
>>
>>31513170
Are you asking where tan/brown and green are near each other in a forest?
>>
>>31513170
That's actually 6 mags; you can see there's a kangaroo carrier behind it with magazines. I wanted to go minimalist so it didn't weigh that much. Thinking about putting together a battle belt now that I've got a handgun so that I can add some more stuff but break up where the weight is.
>>
>>31513190
That shade of green doesnt sit next to those colors is what I am saying. Camo isn't just stick colors together that are in the area, its about blending the fuck in. I could get away with a desert but a forest? Maybe a mountain top with rocks everywhere otherwise im fucked.

>>31513194
I just like the aesthetic of minimalist best plus I don't think sustained combat is ever a good idea so 4 mags is all I really care for myself. Reasons are always interesting desu.
>>
>>31513213
And what I'm saying is that, where I live, the wood, vegetation, and dirt are very close in shade to the OD and the reddish tan of multicam.

What's good for you may not match what's good for me.
>>
>>31513213
I don't believe that I'll see any combat ever which is why I usually only keep 3 mags in it while I'm wearing it (unless I'm shooting on private land or running some drill). I've added a bit to it since then (a first aid pouch and a roll up dump pouch) and will add some more (looking to get a JPC2 so I can get a zip panel backpack with a hydration bladder) but I want to keep it as minimal as possible while still being reasonable to carry around for 8-10 hours at a time and without compromising on what I need to survive.
>>
>>31513254
I have been plenty /out/ and never seen that but uhh you know i never want to have to actually test it out.

you use kevlar with your plates? Usually i run it with cardboard and kevlar in there to keep it stiff since my plates are just too fucking heavy.
>>
>>31513289
It's certainly geographically constrained, but I'm getting a greenzone set for the more lush areas.

And nah. The level 4s seem to stay tight in the lbt. What carrier you got?
>>
>>31513289
also meant to ask you ;_;>>31513276

>>31513355
I run around with a tasmanian tiger. Best for the price in my opinion. Also use G36 pouches because the G36 mags are bigger than everything else so I can stick STANAG mags, AK pattern and AUG pattern with anything else in between.

To the guy who asked last thread about what I ran with, here it is.

Crye G3 shirt w/ AWS IFF Flags
Crye AC Combat pants
Crye Shooters cap I think?
AWS OCPC with an Admin pouch, Camelbak 3L, 3 mags in the kang pouch, one in a fast mag system, an MBITR in an eagle pouch, and a standard GP pouch being used for an ifak, carrying Midwest lvl4 plates
AWS Yote MAP with just a softshell and a hardshell as well as 4 more mags in it, as well as some other general gear (Tape, paper, survival stuff, etc.)
Vasque boots, forget the model but they're Goretex and bretty good
An SLR-106 seeing as I'm still building my AR.
All in all I think it was 48lbs of gear, and I'm still waiting on my belt and holster for the pistol to come in.

also be Careful those Salomons based on my experience they're real bitches to get dry when soaked, and the waterproofing has a short lifespan it starts leaking fairly quickly.
I hated the fact the shoe laces never wanted to stay tied nor tight, and the boot was so stiff that it scraped against the back of my leg causing blisters even with heavy weight wool socks.

oh, and using haemostatic agents also includes the risk of clots caused by the agent going into your blood stream and killing you that way.

Risks man, all risks. But so is getting into a situation that would see you using that stuff in the first place.

I would say take a class or dont carry stuff like clotting agents or anything serious but you will probably ignore that and watch some youtube videos and buy it anyways. I learned it all from being in the Canadian Forces for 9 years including a comabt deployment ( inb4 thanks fur ur serbice) so I dont know how to learn it from other places. Most first aid classes don't cover extreme laceration and trauma treatment and I don't know how to vet what people would say on youtube. But I do have this neat trauma sheet you should laminate and throw in your first aid kit if you decide to make one.

I would add that if the first tq doesn't stop the bleeding you can apply another one below it (DO NOT REMOVE 1st one) or apply haemostatic or some combination of both.

D3cr H.jpg
3MB, 3456x2304px
So here's my late review on my Russian D3cr Heavy clone. I have used a real Haley regular D3cr before and to compare this to the real thing I would have to say they did a really good job making this clone. The build quality is pretty good with no lose strings that I have found yet, only thing that give me a bit of worry is the zippers but they haven't got caught or jammed yet. Also this comes in more camos (atacs, digi-flora, multicam, etc.) and colors the the HS one so if your looking to match you gear you might be looking in the right direction. I love mine so far. I bought mine in a ranger green and the color isn't too far off from my HS flatpack. I also ordered mine with extra clips($17 extra) to attach to my cubano pc, I had to made two minor cuts with a dremel to two of the front clips to make it fit but after that it fits great to my plate carrier. I have 3 kydex inserts in the mag pouches that are great they have sped up my reload quite a bit would recommend them. Its accepted every mag I've thrown at it so far M4, AK, FAL, and even a box of LemonHeads (might be great to sneak your candy into a movie theater). If you have any questions ask I'll do my best to answer them.

I'll post my setup, but I have barrels of different shots for different climates.

they go bad if exposed to UV or extreme temperatures. even so that only affects the CAT because its got a plastic buckle. buy a SOF-T and don't put it on the outside of your gear on a rubber band like a retard and it'll last longer than you'll have to worry about

>>31521908
Not him, but a TQ that is on a vest exposed to the elements will degrade, and it's best to swap in new ones every few months and relegate the old ones to training aids is they start to look grody.

That said, keeping a TQ in the package is stupid for any that you intend to use. They don't come readied for immediate use, so you really should take them out of the package, make sure the strap is through one buckle and sized for your thigh, folded, and the white Velcro cover is moved out of the way for easy use of the windlass.

Also, anybody who carries at TQ should at least also carry some occlusive seals if not a fully stocked pouch.

/k/ isn't my blog, so I'm not going to get into the weird sex bullshit I got into, and some of the military stuff isn't getting posted until I ETS.
>>
>>31523405
Not him, but I'm somebody who was originally issued an ALICE pack and has actually done rucks and forced marches with them for a long time.

ALICE packs are simply and plainly inferior to quality modern options. The best thing I can say for an ALICE pack is that it is highly durable, but if you plan to do real rucking, you can pay a bit more for a just as lifetime durable pack that is better to carry.

A modern internal framed pack will distribute the weight better, have much better shoulder straps, and tighter and a more form fitting waistbelt.

A lot of people love ALICE and that's fine, but it has to be realized that a big part of that love comes from nostalgia and aesthetic appeal, not functionality.

A modern Camelbak ruck, Mystery Ranch, Eberlestock, Osprey, or other quality outdoor brand will do. You don't need a tacticool pack covered in MOLLE, a duck shouldn't require you to be strapping pouches to it. You can tacticoolify any quality ruck by buying a camo ruck cover for it.
>>
>>31523465
Thanks for the information, I was wondering whether to purchase ALICE or something else. And thanks for the brands you mentioned as well, I'll check them out.

Autistic as fuck question, but is there any real difference between having "separated" pouches like pic related left versus a kangaroo insert on the right? (assuming I cut off the bungee because fuck that shit)

I'm leaning towards the kangaroo option because I'm guessing it's slightly lighter and has kydex to hold the mags, and the only thing I would want to weave on top of them is a bfg ten speed panel just in case I ever need more mags

Plus I'm gonna wear plates so I don't need flexibility between them or anything like a chest rig

A commercial fishing vest and what I assume is a british para beret with the flash of a pseudo-communist sandanista movement he does not and will not comprehend because it would ruin the oh-so-tragic guerilla-freedumb-people-liberator narrative he's constructed in his wimpy-anarchic-whitebread yuropean proto-punk scene.

I have issues with The Clash that can be summed up through a cursory glance at the song: "Safe European Home" or, more generally, the album "Combat Rock"

If you don't know what to put in a pouch, get rid of the pouch. Simple.

There are a lot of POSSIBLE good things, but not everything fits your scenerio or personal preferences. You only learn what you need by training and innawoodsing.

/k/ and GQ get too bogged down in being loaded up, but ditch pouches when you don't need them.

As a Corpsman I can assure you, you'll want a small trauma kit. Shit like tourniquets and hemostatic gauze are fucktarded easy to learn how to apply and will stop you from bleeding to fucking death. You may have to spend some money but it's worth it.
>>
>>31521923
You're fucking stupid. The tourniquet is one of the most important tools in a trauma kit. Look up the CoTCCC study on tourniquets before you make what can only be described as the dumbest fucking comment in this thread.

Thanks senpai.

I meant the bag in top left next to the hydration bladder. Looks roomy and super comfy. Hows it feel on medium to long hikes?

I'm super jelly of your kit. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. You wouldn't happen to have a copy of the list of contents, would you?

P1GTAC, which is the marketing section of PROF1 Group. They used to have EMR really cheap (like 30-40% off the price of their other camouflage schemes) because they cut ties with their Russian partner and just wanted to sell off what was left to get rid of it, but unfortunately it all sold out. During the time they had it you could buy an entire combat uniform for like $70 shipped. It was fucking ridiculous.

we are already almost there gig we are almost there. When you have traps like mine it allows the luxury of a 5 lb helmet with nods to feel like 3 after 12 hours of wear.>>31533123

I remeber when I bought my helmet with MIL discount pricing at just under 750 shipped They cost double that now and that was justa year ago Before they did individual helmet sizing and made it even more difficult for people to find the right size. There gunsight mandible jumped up 100 dollars in price now to. Shit I have is doubling its value quicker then gold normally does.
