Got out of school early yesterday so I went innawoods. Found a really nice place for a makeshift range. Also Innawoods Thread.
Took my new Hungarian Hi Power with me and shot some bottles I found. Surprisingly accurate, even with the sights being slightly off.
I also found this neat little fungus on the ground.
I saw this and at first I thought it was dried blood but it was actually a tiny fungus.
nice I'm going innawoods in a few hours gonna look for coyote tracks

Is it legal to just go innawoods and shoot? If you're in the US, which state do you live in?
Is it public land?

Not OP, but I'm pretty sure it's perfectly legal to shoot, camp, hike, and hunt on public land.
>tfw texas poorfag
>tfw almost no public land
If you've got it, enjoy it and take care of it.

Not sure on the shooting half of this though. I would assume as long as you're not retarded and clean up your brass/targets, you should be fine.

It is legal for National Forest property. You have to be a certain distance from roads (150 feet I think). Check with your local National Forest.
isn't america the best fucking country in the world. We cannot lose our rights I fucking swear we must limit our government.

Here in WA the law says you're a-ok to go shooting in F2H areas or other hunting areas.
During the hunting season i think it's a little stricter
