My friend gave me this blade a long time ago and the plastic peaces have been slowly chipping in preasure pressure points. And now it snaped.
Lesson of the story, only use full metal folders, hardplastic folders just dont have the strength to hold up under pressure.

Hard plastic handles do fine. You just had a cheap piece of shit knife.
Decent folders with plastic grips work perfectly fine. If you had a Spyderco you'd still have a perfectly functional knife. The real moral of the story is not to use shitty knives and expect them to hold up.

Your right it is a bad knife becuase it has a plastic handel which is far weaker than a metal one.
>>31507438
Just becuase you pay more for your shitty plastic folder doen't change that its the same shitty plastic

I've dropped this off a 40 foot high deck on to some rocks before.
Buy good knives that'll actually stand up to abuse.

The adamas is a fucking beast I'd be dissapointment if 40ft hurt it at all

Where did this thought process of "metal is always stronger than composite" come from?
>>31507542
Becuase it fucking is
>>31507542
Just like how steel is heavier than feathers
>>31507378
ive seen those exact knives go for a dollar. in fact i have 2 of them, idk what you expected from a cheap ass knife
>>31507589
Its not like I bought it myself.
or you know you could buy a new knife when yours shows obvious signs of wear and tear

>i know nothing of knives and material sciences!
>>31507378
>stainless china
>bread knife serrations
Those are pretty telltale signs of a shit knife
What were you using it for?
>>31507600
you used a bullshit $1 knife to make a generalized statement about all hardplastic folding knives.
the only lesson to learn from this story is that you are an attention whore.
