Heat was pretty good

Heat has by far the most realistic looking/sounding f/a fire of any movie I know of.

All of the guns used were real assault rifles (some transferable even) setup to fire blanks. Also the sound is as recorded. There's a special feature somewhere where they talk about how they were ready to do all sorts of post production work to make it sound better but in the end they couldn't find a way to improve on what they had.

what is an assault rifle

A select fire rifle in an intermediate caliber.

>Infinite ammo
>Realistic
We should have seen at least 6 reloads per person during the great shootout.

A miserable pile of metal

To be fair we do see several reloads. Hell, Val Kilmer does one smooth reload while providing covering fire.

is this where the 'bank robbers in suits and ties' trope came from?
>>31508140
No?
They said they edited the sound because it was too loud, due to all the high buildings. We had a thread about this not long ago.
