What's the circumference of the bottom part of a 22lr shell?
>>
.278"
>>
>>31505744
0.855 inches.
>>
>>31505764
Oh you said circumference
well now you have the diameter and you can do the rest
>>
>>31505744
Britbong makes pipe based assault rifle. barely maims one.Black pipe sold only to contractors with license. Don't do it anon
>>
Op here,

Are there any drill bits that are .556" in circumference?
>>
>>31505836
5.56 is a metric designation.
>>
>>31505836
Not sure why you keep harping on circumference. You're making it more complicated than it needs to be. Radius or diameter gives you all the information you need about a circle.
>>
>>31505836
>circumference

Nigger nobody designates drill bit sizes by circumference.

I did the math, and the closest you'll get is a #17 drill bit. .177" diameter.
>>
Pi x diameter
>>
>>31505907
Correction: #16
>>
>>31505888
Alright

Do you know of any bits in that size?
>>
>>31505924
7/32
You know you can just look this shit up on a chart?
>>
>>31505907
# 16 okay thank you

Sorry what do they use to measure their size ?
>>
>>31505924
What size does it need to fucking be?

The same as the rim of a .22lr?

Closest to that would be a size J; only .001" under
>>
>>31505934
Where's the chart?
>>
>>31505956
>>31505923
>Size j
>#16

Are these the same?
>>
>>31505744
you're lucky I'm in spoonfeeding kind of mood
>>
This is one of those threads where I get dumber with every post.

Guys, I don't think we should be spoonfeeding him. I have a hunch that he's going to do something he will regret.

Fuck no

One post you ask for a drill that matches the circumference of .556"

But in the OP you asked for one that matches the rim of a .22

Just take the fucking chart and go be stupid somewhere else

Rim of .22 = Size J, that's .277"
>>
>>31505784
.873 thanks
>>
Just wanted to know what size drill to use to have the .22 shell fit snugg in hole

An anon mentioned xslpovs?
Whoa that'd be cool
I have some ammonium nitrate and aluminum stuff I got
>>
>>31506013
he's gonna do something dumb no matter what we tell him. At least maybe he'll learn the difference between diameter and circumference now and stop being so goddamn geometrically illiterate.
>>
>>31506118
Thus stupid fuck is going to drill a .22 sized hole in something, put a round in it and hit it with a hammer. God speed you dumb bastard.
>>
>>31506118
How deep of a hole?

Like, just hanging through a board of wood by the rim?

Can the rim poke out the back side, or does it need to fit flush with the face of whatever you've stuck the bullet through?
>>
>>31505852
5.56" sounds like a vastly superior round to me.
>>
>>31506118
>>31506160
Please record the act and get your next of kin to post it on YouTube and link it here.
>>
>>31506188
Not at the way through, I want the shell to poke out, doesn't have to be flush

Although that would look nice on the design
>>
>>31505984
> idiot obviously wants to make a gun with a 2by4 and a drill

Darwin thinks you're an upstanding fellow.

Not my fucking problem.
>>
>>31506013
>>31506118
How much force do I need to have the ammonium nitrate and aluminum shavings go off, guys?

And what is the ratio I use like 4 liters nitrate to 2 tbsp shavings or what
>>
>>31506242
Then just drill straight through whatever it is you want to kill yourself with with a 7mm drill bit. That's a little under the diameter of the case, so it should be a tight fit.

Don't bother countersinking it if you don't need to. You probably wouldn't get the depth right anyway, if all you're using is a hand drill.

OP will be the first retard to blow his fingers off with the most chickenshit round ever made that wasn't fired out of a pellet gun. Be sure you record every shot you take out of this thing because I'm going to love watching your 4th grade special education math skills get applied to machining parts to fire bullets. I'm sure you'll turn out to be a modern John Browning any day now.
>>
>>31506369
Not that I wouldn't ever recommend a man of your caliber to go anywhere near anything even remotely resembling a machine tool, but drill presses are pretty cheap.
>>
>>31506285
>implying anything asked on this board is anyone's problem.

Hell, if you like spoonfeeding the 'tard, go ahead, I don't care. I'm not telling people this to keep him safe, I'm telling everyone else this because OP is a lost cause.
>>
>>31506427
I just want to see what this guy ends up doing.

Let's change the subject since OP is a shit.

>tfw you will never have the tools to forge your own anime swords
>>
>>31505744

Don't be a bitch, OP. 30-06 rim is 12.01 mm in diameter or as you love to refer to things 37.71 mm circumference. If you get a big enough piece of wood and enough nail heads on a piece of wood you can fire like 30 at once. To test it out you should set it up as a bed of nails and lay down on it to see if they go off.
>>
>>31506446
I admit, it would make for a pretty hilarious thread if he actually tries to make some crappy AOW and ends up blowing off his finger. Especially after the warnings.

Answer my ammonium nitrate/ aluminum shaving ratio question guys

Yep, the UK will get even more cucked now.

Well if he blows his fingers off, he won't be able to bother us with really simple questions anymore.

I multiplied .278 by 2 thinking that was how to get the circumference ending up with .556"

My bad, so I've now discovered that by multiplying the diameter times pi equals the circumference

Now where I dun goofed was thinking that the diameter was the radius, and that to find the circumference I needed to multiply .278 by 2, which isn't the case for findind the circumference anyways

So yeah, whoops

I need size j
For a .22
The radius being .139
Diameter .278
And circumference being .872

Which I've gathered shouldnt be the unit of measure I should have sought after, apologies

Size j for drilling thanks /k/

Sorry for the spoon feeding

Remember, if you can find a broken .22 pellet rifle, you can make 4 or 5 pistol barrels out of it's barrel.
Good luck,Bong!

No guys I'm not making any weapons, I'm doing a wood working project and putting empty .22 shells into some wood
