yea I got kicked out of Colonial Shooting Academy in VA for bringing a bottle of water into the range. All the gun stores here are pretty fudd-tier except for a small LEO worshipping gun shop

If you got banned from a range for anything but picking up your brass then you deserve it

i almost got suspended from the range today, because the head president of the range thought i was shooting at a rock that was placed on top of a target frame(i wasnt) he took my badge and was about to write me up, i did my best to explain the situation. He was kind enough to give me the benefit of the doubt and let me go.
I was a idiot for not removing the rock first thing when i walked up to that frame.

Yea, I've been banned, they are even trying to sue me for damages too. I don't know if I can greentext it correctly but I'll try. This was probably the biggest lapse in judgement I've ever had in my life.

I drove my truck through an active firing range once by accident. I didn't know where this range was and I was spaced out following GPS. I guess I followed a gravel access road or something. They called ceasefire and I didn't get shot up but they banned me and wouldn't let me shoot.

Not banned but kicked for the day. The reason was "rapid fire." Which, in Michigan, means you fired two rounds within 10 seconds.

My story isn't nearly as funny, but I got banned for rapid fire in an indoor range. Wasn't going too fast, but faster than 1 shot per second. That's not why I was kicked out. That's what brought their attention to me.

Closest I ever came to that was getting DNF'd from a 3 gun comp for loading my holstered pistol outside the box.

I normally shoot on my own property, it was my first comp, and they didn't cover it in the safety briefing, but that fat fuck rules lawyer on the Huldra Arms team whisper-argued with the RSO until my light scolding turned into a DNF.
