So i recently coughed up the money to get an H&K USP9 (Full sized) used and it's a 2003 V1 model. When i got it home i noticed that when i shake it some internals are wobbly but not the slide

I take it apart to find that the disconnector is a little wobbly. I hear reports that this is normal, and some that it isn't, then i hear reports it's just the nylon brush up against the bushing or something like that.
Can you help a brother out /k/? I go on google and type in "H&K USP disconnector problem" and it only has a result to a forum and talks about the compact.
Is this normal for USP's? Thanks.
I thought HK USP's are supposed to be top of the line?
have you shot it
does it dryfire?
if so, all is well

Well i found this USP and it looked like it needed a little TLC. The internals were all dusty so i disassembled it and cleaned the dust off with Hoppes #9 and everything seems ok, but that wobbling bothers me. I just hope that my investment didn't go to waste.

Have yet to shoot it yet, but it dry fires just fine. :)

It's normal for the internals to wobble a little. The extra space is by design to allow grease and oil to work their way in between the different parts without undue friction. Do they rattle when you shake the gun? There really shouldn't be a very audible rattle when shaking a USP, if that's what you're complaining about, but I don't think it would be an indication of a real problem either.
Does the trigger move the hammer when the slide is in battery? Does the trigger disconnect from the hammer when the slide is out of battery? If you answered yes to both questions, then there is no problem.

Take a picture because, you really don't seem to be able to explain it. Take pics dude and I'll tell you if it's good to go or if you got fucked.

I hope that's the case.

Sorry, iphone is broke.

Yeah the trigger pull moves the hammer in SA and DA. I cock it back with the trigger all the way back and it resets just fine too.

Sadly there is audible rattle, but everything functions just fine...

Then it is fine. Run some white box through it is you want to test with something mild, but it should be fine.

Try putting some grease on the parts in question. That should dampen any rattle. As long as everything functions as it should, then I wouldn't worry about it.

if it sounds like is in the front, then yes it's the little o ring like do ma flotchy on the guide rod and spring, if not, take it apart and find issue.

That's only on the USP Compact.
>USP9 comfy as fuck to shoot
>pondering pondering
>fuck I need a USP45
>figured it was the same grip
>nope
>feel drastically different on my fem girly hands
Fug I will probably end up trading it for a USP9 or USP9c.
