Is this a good buy for $300? Anyone have an SP101?
>>31500058
300 seems good is a decent enough gun, bit bulky for what it is, but pretty much invincible.
>>31500058
I dount it for $200 something may be wrong with it, i am very dubious of any firearm for $100

>bit bulky for what it is, but pretty much invincible.
PERHAPS THE SAME COULD BE SAID OF ALL RUGER WHEELGUNS
>>31500099
I literally can't understand what you are saying.
>>31500103
Yeah, pretty much, but a bit more noticeable when compared to 5 shot CCW type guns than the rest of the line.
It looks in decent shape so yeah $300 is good.
>>31500058
Tag says 400?
>>31500058
Great gun, I have that model.
$300 is a steal.

This

what load for 3 inch 357s? or do you just put 38spl defensive ammo and call it a day?
>>31500099
Thanks retard
>>31500679
looks like a 2.5 inch barrel? right on the cusp of caliber there. Conventional wisdom says anything under 2.5 inch barrel and you dont get enough velocity increase to justify the discomfort. I'd load hotter .38s and mess around with .357s after that...see what feels doable to you.
>>31500103
Indeed. I will say this. The weight combined with the way Ruger designed the grip and trigger gaurd makes the SP101 handle more like a medium frame gun than a small frame gun. Full house .357 is quite manageable and .38 Special is pleasant for all day plinking if you like.

Were you dropped on your head as a baby?
Serious question.
Yes.
Yes. They are fucking tanks.
>>31500215
Maybe he's getting a discount or it's on sale and they haven't replaced the tag yet.
>>31500058
$300 for a sp01 is actually a fucking steal.
>>31500058
Yes. Yes yes.
.38 +P all day.
