Did I goof /k/?
I was going for cadpat. Done in cerakote

That poor gun.
Looks good, but the pattern is terrible. The job appears to be really well done though.

Looks nice tbqh
Post more pics

I saw the thumbnail and came in here to tell you how retarded that looks, but actually it's not too bad.
The only issue I see is that some layers look higher than others and it looks like some of it is peeling.
Very cool.

This is the only issue I see also.
Need to tack down a couple pieces (around the black area on forestock near the chamber) but overall it turned out well.

>Cadpat
Theres your problem, never trust a maplesyrup nigger
>>31479175
There are higher layers just because it's a 4 color. I tried wet sanding downtown match but after 12hrs I said fuck it and went with clear.

He could probably just do a coat of clear cerakote over the top and it would even it out and prevent peeling from the different layers.
Seen worse op. I probably couldn't or wouldn't want to do as nice of a job. It looks fine.

Op here. There's no peel, Def raised areas tho.
1. What type of cerakote? C (air cure) or h (oven cure)?
2. Once cured, there is no fixing cerakote. It does not adhere to itself, so you're only option to fix the raised areas is to completely strip it and try again.
Honestly tho, the paint job doesn't look that bad.
Should have made the pattern smaller desu, otherwise 6/10
Sweet zombie shorty brah

H. If you flash each coat for about 15 min. It is possible to attach them to each other. It is a very risky process because you run the risk of peeling off everything when untaping if any of the layers cure to much. Once the last one is done you cure normally.
>>31479363
True. But assuming it's completely cured, there's not much you can do at this point.

Looks like north Korean camo
Certified cerakote applicator here. Paint looks like it was applied properly, maybe too thick between coats if youve got ridges. Past that, digi pattern looks like shit imo.
Heres a sample of my work just for confirmation

Good idea.
Fill in the low areas with clear OP. It will look good and should keep anything from peeling.

Ayyyy
First one I did. This is before stippling
Pattern looks fine, but the colors are a little off. The light green is a bit too bright, also the entire finish is a bit glossy looking. It could just be the lighting in the photo, though. IMO the best camo jobs are completely flat or matte.

The entire thing is done in semigloss, i'm surprised any successive layers of paint stuck to it at all.
It doesn't look like Cadpat, but it also doesn't look like some bubba spent 20 minutes in his garage.
