Mount in a vice. Sray some pb blaster.

Use a block of wood and a deadblow mallet

It came in the box that way. Matching numbers, solid clean wood and this bayonet is the only thing messing it up.

I'm going to assume that it probably isn't safe to fire on there like that. It looks like a nice muzzle break but not a safe one.

It won't fit around it. Unless there is another way to get it on there.

Heat it, then either try to smack it off of there with a soft face hammer, or maybe you can tap the rifle on some wood muzzle side down and see if eventually comes loose.

Had the same problem with mine when i bought it. Had a friend hold the rifle pointing to the floor, sprayed some chain lube and used a fat flathead screwdriver on the bayonet slot. Used a soft towel folded over to protect the finish.

I just asked my friend who had the same problem. He said he shot the rifle and the bayonet just flew off. soooo
