Show what you cc, holster, carry style, etc.

Currently sporting pic related with an MTAC (comp-tac) IWB holster. I would also like to thank the anon that suggested this, very impressed with it!

Also love the P2000sk, conceals amazingly in everything but slacks, which I never wear anyway. Glad I went with it instead of the P938.
>>
Carry an M&P Shield in an Incog. Waiting on a Volund Gearworks mini G-Hook belt, the flimsy belt I currently use is inexcusable.

I'm looking strongly at both the P2000SK and P30SK V3 since I like TDA more than striker. That and the upcoming PX4 Carry.

I carry this Beretta 92FS Compact.
Theis IWB Holster.
4-5 o'clock.

It's a good gun. Never failed in thousands of rounds. Sometimes printing is an issue, but only in the summer with tighter shirts.

I have a Bulgarian Makarov with IWB holster for a summertime backup.

P30SK but don't have a holster for it yet.

I bought an M&P Shield in 9mm for a CCW and am wondering what a good, low-cost IWB holster would be.

Not him but in terms of shooting DA/SA, the DA trigger is actually the easiest part. The 'hardest' part is getting used to the reset of the initial SA trigger pull.

If you owned the gun and constantly practice dryfiring, it's actually very easy. Don't be intimidated by it.

I was going to get a Kahr CT9 but then I saw you can get a Sig P250 for about the same money.

Specs are fairly similar, I feel like Sig has better brand history, is kind of known for being a premium brand, and I'd rather give my money to Germany than Korea. Thoughts?

938 is top tier cc. Perfect little pocket pistol, I see so many people with them, and that's because of how amazing they are. Only thing I don't like is the fact it holds like 6 rounds of 9mm. Even carrying a spare mag, that's not something I consider comfortable.

>>
>>31474627
Just be smart about it. Choose a method that's comfortable, but allows for maximum concealment, like a shoulder rig. And test it under your wardrobe at home. As always, practice your draw until it becomes natural.
>>
>>31473548
I cc the M9A1 IWB with a stealthgear. It hides pretty well, but I'd give more credit to the holster than the gun for that.

A Steyr is a rough equivalent to a Glock, upside being the sex and the low bore axis, downside being that stupid lock thing and the higher part count that goes along with it.

IWB is comfortable as fuck. If it is uncomfortable for you, means you're doing it wrong.

I carry a G19 in a aliengear 2.0 holster. Using a bison instructor belt (very surprised how well this belt is put to together, how rigged it is for the price)

I carry usually 15 hours a day, barely notice it's there, i carry either at 5 o'clock or i will switch to a dif holster, carry appendix for the day. Like I said, if it's uncomfortable for you, that means you're doing some thing wrong. Pants are size to small, using the wrong belt, or you're fat and your gun is just digging into your love handles. Hell, even just pulling your pants up higher can help a lot too.
>>
>>31473202

Grip angle can do that too dumb ass. Fire a glock and then fire some thing like a 1911. Grip angle is so dif, you gotta aim further down with the glock.

I appendix carry a Taurus Curve with the attached belt/waistband clip.

Advantages include it being super comfy (I sometimes forget it's there), very light, and you don't have to fuck with a holster.

Disadvantages include no sights, people on the Internet mocking you for carrying a Taurus, and most concerning it has no manual safety so there is a very real chance that in a stressful situation I'll shoot myself in the dick while trying to draw.

Have the opportunity to trade it for a decent condition 1908 Vest Pocket, should I do it?

This is why Springfield Armory is light years ahead of the competition. Glock, S&W, et. all just assume everyone is a level 5 armorer.

But SA is far more user friendly, even the most elite gunners can make use of their simple technology.

To answer your question, look at the pic. It's a little blurry, but you can make out the black plastic protrusion in the bottom right.

See how they labeled it "GRIP ZOEN"? That's the part of the gun that is to be grasped in the hand.

Now, you too, can murder 100 babbies a minute, thanks to this new firearms technology.

Currently a Glock 17 Gen 4, 10-8 Performance rear and 10-8 Performance fiber optic front.

Holster is a JRC Leather AIWB CDA-II. Very slim profile on the belt, though a bit wide. Overall concealment and comfortable is pretty great once I tweaked it a bit but the wing the belt loop rides on is a bit too tall for my taste. I don't have much choice in where to put it on my belt in order to keep it from digging into my leg, and personally I'd sacrifice some of the adjustment and the tuckable feature for a shorter (top to bottom) wing.

I have a Desbiens #4 HC Reverse Cant that should ship this week (on Friday the guy claimed it was made ready to ship Monday, but no word since then) to try out as well, and a newer JRC Leather design on order that should be here by Christmas.

I also carry a J-Frame in an Uncle Mike's #3. I have a Mika holster for it but the more I use it, the less I like it. I've also got a SN-2 from Bobby Mac's that's supposed to ship this week (same story as the Desbiens re: communication -- holster makers are really starting to get on my nerves in that department).

I have a question about what you concealed carry guys would do in some situations I've been confronted with.

I like to go out jogging and bike riding at night. I've been doing this for over ten years and have never been messed with by any person, this is a really nice quiet neighborhood. However, more recently, I have had encounters with dogs where they aggressively try to approach me while growling and I have tell them to "BACK OFF" in a stern voice while slowly walking away to get them to give me some space. I've made it out without harm on four occasions now just doing this.

If you were in my situation, had a gun on you, and then a dog actually attacked you, would that be the time to pull out your gun and shoot it? Would you shoot it as the gun charged you in the middle of the night before it attacked? I don't have a gun, but I fear that having a gun in this situation would be overkill and too much could go wrong. What if you missed and hit somebody's car? I've been considering carrying a knife with me at night, whatever good that'll do. At least I know I wouldn't damage somebody's property defending myself.

Got the same gun.

>Trust .380?
Absolutely, quality .380 meets FBI minimum penetration with expansion in the ballpark of 9mm. The .380 of today is the 9mm of the '90s, and most folks trusted 9mm in 1998.
>Aliengear
Decent, not superb, not garbage.

Manlet detected.

OK, I understand every other criticism but what is the issue with my car? It's a 2011 X3 with the in line 6. Good looking, 4wd, plenty of cargo space.

I'm guessing it's probably the fact that you needed to go out of your way to point out that you drive a BMW makes you a typical BMW owning special-ed motherfucker

DAILY REMINDER

If you don't carry a full sized pistol you are either a cuck or manlet
>>
>>31488282

It's part of the buyers contract, you have to tell everyone about it in the most smug way possible.

Naw actually I just wanted to forestall accusations that I carry a Curve because poorfag. If HK made a tiny pistol with no sights or external controls of any kind that I can carry as easily, I'd buy that instead.

No pics on this laptop, but either a Ruger LCP in its factory pocket holster, riding in my back right pocket, or breast pocket of my jacket, with my spare mag just tucked in my front left pants pocket. Typically carry it when in school or non-permissive environments.

Otherwise outside I carry a CZ P-01 with a Surefire XC1. I carry in a Bravo Concealment BCA with factory OWB clips because I had to send it in for repairs and they sent it back without my softloops. I'm currently about two weeks out from receiving my JM Custom Kydex AIWB rig for it though.

Untucked dress shirt (that fits) and jeans is pretty classy for casual wear, don't you think?

It's leagues better than anything polymer in the same class. The mass of the frame helps a lot.

I got attacked by a dog rott/lab. I ripped off one of its eyes and it left crying.

Point still boils down to "some people cannot CC a full sized handgun everywhere we go, because we aren't all able to dress like asshole trust fund kids."

Another possibly alternative is buying a holster that you can tuck with? Or not wearing a sundress everywhere you go?

Im getting a P64 from a friends friend for 150, its a little beat up but he already did the wolf spring replacement.

Anyway what do you guys think of carrying it? Are holsters available?

Im considering it because I only have one other pistol and its a hi power which is too big for my 5'9" 160lb frame.
>>
>>31489717
Yeah, if anything. Real nice gin. I might just go with the compact though.

Currently a sig p320 carry in an mtac holster. Looming for a new holster, preferably single clip and kydex. Looking at invisiholsters, but I can't find any reviews on them. Open to recommendations.

It's an interesting design and approach to cc. I wish it wasn't made by taurus, and that they had one in 9mm that was less expensive than the shield in 9mm

I'm looking for a full sized grip, compact barrel (around 3.5 inches) and thumb safety, any brand, and have not found a single fun that fits all three. I could always use a compact with a magazine extender, but I really want a one piece grip.

Please help me

Please.

I've been searching for weeks. Closest I found is p250, but no safety.

XD-s 9mm. Galco King-tuk holster, 3 o'clock. 7 rounds of 124 gr HST with one in the pipe. Upgrades to 9+1 in the winter, though I consider carrying my .45 instead as it's 13+1.

Own both, and while mass is proportional to the amount of recoil each one absorbs, the P938 seems especially comfortable to shoot.

Have you use a 15 round mag or extension to get a full grip on the P30SK?
