To any anons that have one or carry one, what are your thoughts on it? Despite being the perfect size for a cc weaponlight, I've heard some pretty bad things about them.

would not recommend, sadly. This is the first surefire product I'm saying you should avoid. I've had 2 that have crapped out on me. Wait for the Gen2 version.

I have an X300U shit the bed on me. I'm really put off by SureFire but the XC1 is very enticing ever since I saw it. If I can conclude the XC1 is infact shit, I'm sticking to getting pic.

is that the new compact carry PX4? I've been research those, seems like an excellent Glock 19 sized DA/SA. Might have to get one too.

Yes it is. There's been zero news on it from Beretta but it's coming out on October.
This is a very good thread on it by Ernest Langdon, the guy who brought the idea to Beretta.

I've got two of them, one on my sub2k and one on my glock 19.
Neither have shit the bed yet, but I haven't shot them enough to say one way or the other.
I hear the most common failure point is the mounting bracket, so pick which gun you want it on and put it on there as if it were permanent.
Doesn't surefire warranty them anyway if they do fuck up?

You realize the slides on those are obnoxiously wide, right? Uncomfortably so.

I'm sure they do. Despite having a long wait time to get your light fixed, SureFire has a very good customer service. A bit annoying how domestic customers have to call and can't email them.

Yes, they replaced mine after mine stopped working.

I see no reason not to try one out then.

lmfao

But they have low profile levers.
