Why do so many people, especially young adults, ignore gun safety? And I mean really simple shit, like not waving a loaded pistol around.

Because young people are dumb, and do not have personal experience enough to know why doing such things is a bad idea. Like touching a hot stove. Sure, at some level you KNOW not to do it. But until you've burned your hand, the consequences are abstract and distant.

Why though? When I first handed a pistol, the instructor said "Don't point the gun at anything you don't want to shoot at", and my response was "Makes sense".

Same reason I do 149 in my car on the interstate.
I'm young and I won't learn until it's too late.

Really hoping yer referring to km/h, cause 149 MPh is pretty fucking fast.

You don't really notice it until you look to the side and see the landscape blurring.

That's four pictures

never go full plaid

I can tell this image was made by a nigger, because it depicts police beating someone, instead of a nigger resisting arrest or a group of apes rioting.
Some aren't being safe enough, others are fucking safety Nazis. People freaking out on YouTube videos and bullshit because the person didn't check on gun on camera in the video. And they might not even be doing much with the gun in the video.

My carry gun stays loaded because rechambering all the time kills brass.

It's actually loss in reverse order.
>>31472157
It's easy as fuck to go 110-120 on some of the empty highways in the midwest. 149 is crazy but these are pretty much pure flat straightaways.
>>31474474
That's stupid, I agree
I'm not near that gun IRL so I don't care. Plus he probably checked it off-camera
You can bet your ass I'll slap someone sweeping me with their muzzle at the range tho

>Stick hand outside window open palmed
>Start to lose control of my vehicle as the wind hits my hand and veers the car around
>Don't do it again
>>31474559
...well great, now I can't unsee it.

Because gun culture has been eroded by the left and many young adults dont already have a decade of gun safety and maintenance training from their family members by the time they can independently obtain guns. Instead they depend on movies, video games, and at best, youtube videos.
By the time i had my own gun to freely do whatever i wanted to with with out supervision i had years of going hiking and camping with a bb gun and my father watching how i carried and held it before he let me start carrying a real one, unloaded, before he let me start carrying ammo in my pocket, before i finally got to carry a loaded gun.
