It runs great.
The only parts i changed were the barrel,bolt and firing pin the rest is stock Fulton armory.
The barrel is a ballistic advantage 18 spr rifle barrel.The bolt is a spikes tactical nickel boron 5.45 bolt and i used a. enhanced firing pin.

I've saved my life once with a gun already and had a nasty experience during an armed home invasion because eurocuck laws said no guns for American residents. I find it prudent to assume bad events come in threes (or more). I'll take the red dot and every other advantage I can get.

No but shit posting aside, honestly, in CQB distances which also happen to be handgun distances, it won't make much of a difference.

And, when it comes to shooting at a distance, I have a much easier time doing it with irons than red dots. I have very good eyes and I can see the sights in very good detail. I can spot a small fraction of the sight and use it for reference, as opposed to a red dot with it's typical 3 moa dot.

Or maybe I'm just full of bullshit, fact is though, I've been using irons all my life. It just feels weird to use a red dot. Scopes are okay though, since I'm also a bit of a fud and used to them for hunting and plinking.

I grew up using irons only for at least a decade. To say I'm comfortable with them is an understatement. I can definitely clear my house more readily when I'm practicing that, when there's a red dot attached to the top of the AR. Triply so at night. Yeah at that range there's a lot of natural aim involved but you also can't afford to miss and send a round into a neighbor's residence.

Scopes are so dumb. Like, BDC reticles? Who the fuck needs that? Why would you want a magnified optic so you can clearly see your target? Especially when you can just press b and switch to a sniper rifle for targets further than 200 yards. the straight 20s were the most problematic of the magpul mags. they had issues locking back or feeding.they werent all horrible but it happens enough to be reported. now the only issue is wah its not straight anymore the straight ones looked better etc.

My unit is all carry handle and optics, but we worked with a Maintenance unit not so long ago and they all had the GI BUS and I have to say, good sight pictures.
