Does it shoot accurately?
If yes and yes, is good rifle.

If "muh /k/ approved aesthetics" are something that floats your boat you could make improvements.

>>
>>31452327
They might still have a few lowers with a blank side at their store, I would ask unless you don't care.

desu I would buy an anderson lower or 2 just to have plus a shit ton of mags. You can always sell shit in the future. Pistol builds will be banned with the proposed bill so you will need lowers bought before the bills date if that's something you want to do in the future. Plan ahead so you can grandfather them in.

I would like to buy another rainier lower and a mega, both great local companies.
>>
>>31452354

Pls let's pretend the bill won't pass for a little while longer. I only just moved to WA (and America) and I'm not prepared to deal with the irony yet.

In any case, a pile of mags and lowers is definitely in the cards. Mostly mags, I think.

I'm well aware of the EoTech memery, and when all that buzz happened I chose not to send mine back for a refund.

I've owned this sight for years, zeroed it in once and it will punch holes in the bullseye whether it's 110° out or 15° out. No issues with condensation or reticle distortion or anything that I could notice. So I'm happy with how it performs.

I also chose not to get a refund because there isn't really any other reflex sight out there with a 1moa dot coupled with a circle pattern reticle. The 1moa dot pairs very well with a magnifier and the reticle pattern makes getting a sight picture instant. With Aimpoints I have to hunt a second to find the dot unless the brightness is turned way up, but then the bloom from the brightness becomes obtrusive.

Sure they're not what they were advertised to be, but they're not terrible sights. General consensus was that they were pretty good before the whole lawsuit thing blew up.

Ak Operators' Union has a pretty good torture test video of a Radical Firearms ar on youtube. There have been several reports of barrel extensions loosening on their guns, though
>>
>>31452619
And reports of guns shipping with no gas port drilled.

And reports of guns shipping with broken internals (hammers snapped in half, gas tube ends mushed shut).

And guns shipping with canted FSB's like the big shitstorm WASRs had for, like, 5 years.

And guns shipping with out-of-spec top rails.

They're a literally-unsafe-to-use tier bargain-basement AR that belongs in the same category as Vulcan Arms.

First time posting in /arg/. I just moved to based AZ from CA and picked up a lower on my second day here. I had an 80% lower I was gonna start on, but I said fuck it and bought a lower cause I can, and cause good deal. I have all the parts to finish my 80% lower later on, minus the MOE stock. Anyways, I got an Aero Precision M4E1 upper, Bushnell TRS25 sight, Magpul MBUIS, PSA BCG, cheapo UTG foregrip (was on sale for like $7, seems okay enough for now) and the lower parts are all PSA generics, minus the stock.

So, you cunts got any recommendations for pistol grips and muzzle devices? Might get a suppressor eventually once finances allow it, movings expensive, yo.

Magpul K2+. Super fucking comfy, durable, cheap.
>muzzle device
If you want a flash hider, Surefire 3 prong or BE Meyers M249F are the best but also the most expensive (both over $100). Otherwise stick with an A2 birdcage, which is like $10.

If you want a muzzle brake, the DPMS Miculek brake is excellent and relatively inexpensive. Other options are the M4-72 (and its chink knockoffs) and the Benny Cooley (which is probably the single most aggressive brake made). The Surefire brake (SFMB) is excellent as well but also very expensive.

If you want a compensator you have the Strike Industries J-Comp, PWS FSC, and a whole shitload of small-shop and chink knockoffs.
>>
>>31452692
I'll czech out the muzzle devices for sure. And the Magpul grip seems pretty nice, my buddy has an MOE grip and it's pretty comfy, though it's just as comfy as the A2 grip, which I'm running as it is.

Newb here, I have to zero my new buis and scope soon.

If I want to do a 50 yard zero then it would appear as 1" low at 25 yards right? Of course I will confirm this at 50 but it's easier to see groups at 25 yards first before pushing it out further.

My second question is with my optic. I just bought it and like it so far but I am not really familiar with "0.25 MOA = 1 click." So I know MOA usually means 100 yards and if say I am 1" left of the bullseye at 100 yards then I just gotta do 4 clicks over right? But what about at the 50 yards... is it 8 clicks over? And similarly 16 clicks at 25 yards?

So what does /arg/ think of ACS Magazines? Are they any good? Trying to find metal magazines in my area is shit, they're all ACS and the one place I found that had some nice heavy steel surplus mags, they wants $20 per each.

inb4 just get Pmags.

Yeah, I'll be getting Pmags too, I just need some reliable metal mags for all this ALICE I have laying around.

there are a few vendors that will assemble parts for you for a fee. rainier arms for example.
ive always wondered why there isnt a vendor who lays out all the individual parts on one page, kind of like a custom computer vendor.
like there would be one page where you could assemble an upper from parts in a drop down box. you go through and pick out individual components, they assemble for a fee and ship it to you.
i guess its not profitable, but surprising there isnt atleast one vendor that does this

my mistake, thats for disassembly. assembly is $100 at RA- way too much money.

They are reptile specific. In the light isle of a pet store you should see them.
We use 65w during winter, so it may be best to get one of those.

It may vary depending on your regions temp and how close the bulb is.

People say you can use household bulbs but we never do.

International Gucci Code 118 § [b.15] clearly states that "dissimilar finishes shall be considered offensive to the sensibilities of the faux riche. See section [c] for exceptions."

Wherein beginning [e.1] further defines offensive as "containing fewer than 3 or more than 1 individually color or share differentiated components, or containing fewer than 3 or more than 1 finish shades or colors shall be considered a misdemeanor Code offense punishable by not less than 3 days ban and not more than 10 days ban. See section [e.6d] for information on identifying FN Scar 16, FN Scar 17 Code conformance to color specification."

tl;dr What you have there is offensive and gaudy. If it contained additional tan components, or if the single tan component were instead black, there would be no violation.
