Just started replaying ROTCW...forgot how much I loved that game.

Good taste OP, if they made a game like Raven Shield but with modern graphics and ballistics I can die a happy man.

Also I love the early 2000's weapons in the game, before everything became a generic AR clone. Also I always outfit my guys in OD green. Besides that I outfit each member with a different weapon for fun variation, but I always go with silenced 10mm MP5 w/ hollowpoints.

never take rifles if you're not dealing with paramilitaries

give your pointman an SR-2 Veresk, it rapidly acquires targets and kills effectively even silenced

give your followup a bullet hose, a TMP or Uzi is effective

I normally give the third man in a squad a rifle /silenced sidearm and play them myself as a "squad leader" type role, directing the others to flank etc while tossing grenades properly for them. All you need is a proper security element with some distance and penetration- an mp5 silenced will do

a 4 man squad is easily detected and not worth considering unless you're going to take causalities. Even a 3 man unit is rather noisy

Smoke and tear gas are considered silent, and extremely useful. Tear gas in particular can be used to cause movement in effected rooms allowing an easier clear compared to flash, masks not even necessary.

The majority of China's "Training" is what I like to call "Standing Pretty" they get hardly any combat training or weapons training. My army is multicultural, I have Nord and Rhodok linemen, Swadian armored horsemen, Vaegir... whatever it is they do, archers or something, Khergit horse archers, and I don't know desert people archers too because I literally could not care less. In every battle I do 99% of the work with my pike and bastard sword circle strafing wizardry. I'm not happy until the map is covered in red names and everyone is huddled in some faggot nowhere town making baseless threats against me.
