While on active duty as an instructor, a couple NCOs and I would sit at an ambush point with blanks/rifles/explosives/ and tons of time...we launched a couple smoke grenades more than a 1/4mi with a half an axel and some booms. Then got in a "firefight" with each other with expended blank ammo. (Cram one casing in the end of the barrel and fire a blank round)

One of the guys was pretty dumb and thought the casing would go further if he hammered it into place...it exploded and send shrapnel into his arm...don't do that. We all of course laughed our asses off as we went over to him to see what he was bitch ing about. Then pulled the brass from his bicep with a gerber and gave him some dirt to rub on it. LOL

Roni is an sbr because the barrel is sub 16". In the picture you posted if the glock has a 16" barrel it will not be an sbr.

Atf ruled you can take a pistol and make it into a rifle (put on 16"+ barrel then stock is okay other way around in illegal sbr) then convert it back to a pistol (remove stock then barrel other way around makes illegal sbr).
The Atf ruled the sign brace isn't a stock therefore you can have it on a pistol with a barrel sub 16".

If the starting firearm is a rifle you cannot go to a pistol without becoming and illegal sbr.
So let's say I buy a stripped ar15 lower and transferred it as an other.

If the first thing I put on it is a 16" barrel and stock it's forever a rifle. If I remove the stock and put on a 12" barrel it's an sbr illegally. If the first thing I put on the lower is a buffer tube and 12" barrel then the receiver is legally a pistol receiver. I can then put a rifle barrel and stock on it if I want and latter remove them as long as I never violate nfa laws.

My only way to rationalize it is if you could take rifles and make pistols from them gun companies would sell whatever your flavor of pistol is with an unusable 16" barrel and a easily removable stock. That means you could buy it put in a usable pistol barrel and remove the stock (not in that order) and have a normal pistol.
