That statement doesn't having any meaning. Tavors in particular have issues with suppressors but otherwise they functions flawlessly. Plus they're used by one of the most active modern military forces. The Steyr Aug has a shitty trigger but adjustable gas system so works well with suppressors.

The M1A is reliable, relatively accurate, and sturdy. A bit heavy if you accessorize it but still a solid design. There's a reason the M14 is still in service.

According to Ian from FW, US Army mud test protocoll was to submerge the gun completely and let it sit for a few minutes, then shoot it. I can guarantee you that with the sandy mud that we have here, a VZ that's just dropped onto the mud will fail miserably.

No. This has been discussed a thousand times, the AR-15 is not designed for a short stroke or long stroke piston without redesigning the bolt carrier.
