An 11" rail is preferred, but I can't go too short since the rifle has a mid length gas system.

Build an AR pistol. Put a Shockwave on it.
Grab whatever lower you like. Anderson is the best cheapest option. Then grab a stripped or completed upper with a 10.5" barrel. Get an LPK with or without a fire control group and pistol grip you like. Get the Shockwave brace for $100.

I've always used PSA uppers. You can get good deals on their premium line, which uses FN barrels. Depending on the kind of build you're going for, they have both free floating uppers and uppers with FSP gas blocks for a little cheaper. Either will work, however.

Failing that, if you want to build, look at any of the big names. Aero, BCM, PSA, Anderson, etc. There are more Gucci options, but how Gucci your gun needs to be is up to you.

I've got the keymod 15" and like it. It's sturdy despite the whole loctiting it on thing and light. I'm personally not crazy about keymod after using it, but if you're already invested in keymod stuff, it's a good rail for the money.
