The mutant dinosaur could withstand fire from a GE M134 Minigun and even an indirect hit from an AT4 rocket launcher.
>>
Yes, they could.

Ballistas, Scorpios and Bolas launchers, and nets.

Like any animal it can be herded, cornered, and eventually killed.
>>
Didn't Hannibal use elephants against Rome and get rekt? The I-rex is basically just a bigger elephant. A trebuchet is all you would need to take it down.
>>
>>31367505
Using a Trebuchet to kill a moving target doesn't sound remotely likely.

A Scorpio sounds possible, but if the monster can withstand 7.62 NATO, I don't see why a Scorpio would harm it.
>>
>>31367546
Every soldier would need to be armed with a Scorpio to take the creature down then. One or two hits wouldn't even penetrate the skin.
>>
>>31367419
The minigun operator was an idiot / I.Rex had plot armor, the bullets never made contact.
>>
How would /k/ survive at Jurassic World during the Indominus escape?
>>
>>31367419
>The Ingen team were armed with non-lethal rounds only and managed to hold it off for a bit
>An RPG went off near it and sent it tumbling head over heels
>Christ Pratt's Marlin was making gunshot wounds
Then again it got smacked on the head by an ankylosaurus tail and wasn't very phased then that turn a T. rex's skull to near dust.
If you hit it with an RPG directly it's mortally wounded at the very least.
>>
>>31368303
Real life beats Hollywood movies. Hollywooders have zero knowledge of how real projectiles would take down dinosaurs well.
>>
>>31368395

The scenario is entirely hypothetical. I'm talking about how would YOU survive, as a tourist, in a theme park where concealed carry is prohibited most likely, against a scenario that involves breached paddocks and carnivorous animals looking for a snack.
>>
>>31368764
Well seeing as tho most theme parks with water don't allow straws
I'd say I'm pretty fucked
>>
Rope. 100 ropes with ten men each.

Tie it down. Then cut it apart.

Fin
>>
>>31368764
Mop handle. Sharpen or attach sharp object.

I'm still gonna get eaten, but maybe I'll get me a Dino first.
>>
>>31368804
That's probably the only way to deal with the animal. A T-rex weighs roughly ~22,400 lb and if this monster is Hollywood bullet proof, they can't do anything else.

How will they tie the animal down?
>>
There is no animal man cannot take down
>>
Ballista could do it, historical accounts of roman ballista bolts going thru a elephant. If they knew what was coming and could set up they would probably not do too bad. They were the kings of fast fortification construction.
Ballista, Walls, Palisades and Stakes. I would think they could hurt it badly at least. And if it stepped on stakes and injured it's feet they would have a mobility kill.
>>
Yes. Just because retards in the movie can't aim doesn't mean it's invulnerable to damage.
>>
>>31368764
Make a spear with knives and stick. Make poison gas with ammonia and bleach, Pool cleaning supplies I could could probably make a killing room of a lower floor of a building, and hide out on upper floors. Make spears and defend door ways. Hopefully not get caught in open or in a normal vehicle. Hope stay still/silent works on dinos.

Improvised chemical weapons
Bleach + Vinegar = Chlorine Gas
Ammonia + Bleach = Chloramine Gas

At some point I would be desperate enough to bait with Tylenol laced food items. Acetaminophen was shown to be lethal to snakes, I would try it.

A spray of cleaning solution into eyes might be useful.
>>
>>31367419
withstand fire from a horrifically aimed GE M134, and a indirect hit from what must have been a poorly manufactured AT4 rocket.

Weapons were magically ineffective in that movie just because the writers(and the audience) wanted to have the dinosaurs kill each other.

That's why it's concealed. Along with two spare magazines, given the number of people.

jesus fuck anon.

>>31369809
true, but it makes things more interesting to have it impervious to certain things. otherwise, a few men with scorpions would kill it.

Why's the number of people matter? Preparing to get rushed by a mob?

What are you two trying to say?
>>
>>31368200
This, that bitch isn't really that tough.
>>
>>31367419
I'd have the dinosaurs follow me upstairs and then I would jump down onto ground level. Dinosaurs can go up stairs, but they can't go down them. It would take a crane to get them down.
>>
>>31367419

Withstand fire from the minigun? Watch the movie again, the guy sprays every thing but the damn thing he is trying to hit.
>>
>>31370315
Metal detectors exist for a reason. I don't know what the laws are regarding amusement parks like Disney World and concealed carry so I assume it's like with an airport, but I imagine a high-tech park like JW would have at least screening measures to prevent kebabs from jihading the place.

Welcome to the real world, where cavemen with pointy sticks killed mammoths.

There is nothing alive that is impervious to damage.
>>
>>31372972
Idiots think that if something's big and tough enough, it can be basically invincible. Nothing is invincible. Hunkering does NOT work. Armor just improves your odds. Dune coons with RPGs can kill even Abrams tanks with enough lucky hits in the right places.

Your best bet for avoiding death is to not get shot. Even better, don't get shot AT in the first place. Same idea applies to dinosaurs; you can either kill them or scare them off and both options are acceptable.

Since I've been put in the hospital for obs from a foolish coworker who mixed up ammonia and bleach to clean a work area I can tell you it would probably not be a meme. It works pretty fast when some fool dumps a full bucket together and you have to cross the area to get out. At the minimum it would drive them out of a area. But this is in response to >>31368764

I carry but the last time I went to Disney they had metal detectors and bag checks. I would assume Jurassic Park would be the same.

>Without garbage plot armor
Fucking easily. They have a lot of nasty weapons to throw at it, literally in some cases. God help it if it swallows a particularly cantankerous roman that kept his blade while he's still alive to the point he can cut and stab for a while. That's assuming it doesn't get killed by scorpions and ballistas before it even gets close.

>With garbage plot armor
Yes but they're gonna have casualties and it's going to end like a typical action movie with some roman hero general as the last man firing four flaming, explosive, scorpion covered, poisoned ballista bolts out of some fancy quad ballista rig as the thing charges towards him. The writers will have him say something "badass" right before he fires killing the beast which almost falls on him. Witty one liner soon to follow.

They wouldn't even need specialty weapons, a pit trap with the pila dug in would be enough. question is, is the rex smart enough to see it coming? other then that, they could make pike tier spears and a 1000 of those is more than enough.

I see a coyote on my land, it's getting turned into a fucking rug. Those are the kinds of people that would protest you killing a mouse in your home.
>>
>>31367889
Every legion (6000 men?) Had 80, so gathering up 300-1000 scorpios if you had all of the resources in Rome is feasible.

Also

>onagers
>several thousand pila
>triarii Spears into the under gut

Just build a trap, get it stuck, and pelt it

Romans had Caltrops as standard kit
They would most certainly spread those in front of their lines if they knew what they were fighting and might even deploy them as part of a retrograde or catapult action. That would do it.
>>
>>31373397
Look up studies on ankylosaurus' tail club, that shit would break T. rex's bones in about a thousand different places from one hit,
and the fucker clubed the I. Rex in the head with it during the hamster ball battle.
