I thought only certain parts of the bill were emergency status? I didn't think we would be able to carry freely until Jan 1st.

I don't want people getting in trouble for carrying to early. Is the constitutional Carry part of the bill effective now? I skimmed through the bill and couldn't really tell. I guess I can stop by the local sheriff's office and ask.

I wouldn't be worried about it. I lived in Georgia for a while, the only qualifications you needed to carry were the application fee and passing a background check.

Sure, there might be a slight increase in incidents, but I don't really see it becoming a large enough issue to gain any real attention.
