Judge my most recent purchase, and guess how much I paid...

490 ?
Those things any good?
Not bad. I'm guessing $400
>>31346407
Wikipedia says they go for 900-1000
>>31346433
Close, $300 from a coworker. From what i can tell he never cleans his guns, but I'll go through it this weekend after I shoot it
>>31346423
Probably only worthwhile from a collector's standpoint. The magazine is tough to remove and they are around $100 each if you can find any. Its like an SKS with no spare parts availability
Here it is with its caliber cousin, a home built VZ58 (I know slant brake get that shit off)
>>31346407
>Only about 8000 of them made.
NICE.
>>31346710
>(I know slant brake get that shit off)
...why? I think they look cool, and they actually work well.
RAAAAAAAASHEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOOO
>>31346423
They're decent, but its value is almost solely in its rarity and collectible nature.
>>31346528
Very nice. You could triple that pretty easily if you need.
>>31346748
Only purpose for it is the rotating bolt on an AK, which a VZ does not have. I put mine on because my barrel threads are not concentric to the bore, and a slovokian brake would have possibly encountered bullet strike. It is now pinned and welded to the ATF "dont shoot my dog" 16 inch length

What the actual fuck is this?
I see an SKS bayonet on what looks like a miniature Hakim.
What caliber is it?
>>31346857
x39
>>31346857
The caliber of kebab my friend, 7.62X39
>>31346857
you know of the hakim, but not of the rasheed? I usually see them mentioned together
My coworker also has an SAR-3 that he wants $350 for. Mags for these are hard to find and very expensive, but he has 2 weiger mags and 2 converted bakelites. Its in pretty rough shape as far as the furniture, but I might get it as well
Can anybody read or translate this?
Can anybody read or translate this right side up? I cant read sand people...

"Whomever shall disturb this rifle from its tomb will be cursed by the mummy a thousand times"
YOU MUST NOT READ FROM THE BOOOOOOOOOK!!!!!!
>>31346407
please tell me, that you didn't blow guys to get that gun :(
>>31347545
Nope, just $300 to a guy that didn't want it. $900 and a BJ it could be yours...
>>31346407
You did good, Egypt only built about 15,000 of them and even less made it into the country. Those are very rare nowadays.
>>31347611
What about 2 BJs and you keep the gun
>>31347143
Sar 3 5.56 ?
Either way its worth more that if it all checks out.
Welcome to the club, Anon!
>>31346407
Ya dun gud OP, Egyptian rifles are neat as fuck
>>31346913
For some reason the Rasheeds are less well known than Hakims
>>31346528
That's a steal. I got my Hakim recently for $530 shipped. I've been seeing them in the $700-800 range on GB and other sites when available. I haven't even seen any Rasheeds, they have to normally be $1k+. They only made 70k and most were the Hakim variety..
>>31346846
>Only purpose for it is the rotating bolt on an AK
lolwut
it's supposed to drive the muzzle in the strongest direction for the support hand.
