Can someone give me a down to earth play by play on what the hell is going on in my state? I've read a bunch of legal jargon and before you ask: yes, I've signed the petition.

I've heard a bunch of different opinions from everywhere I've looked such and I need some /k/ommandos to break it down so I can prepare adequately.

Also discuss your plans to fight the inevitable establishment of FEMA Zone 6 and how we will fight Hillary's reptilian gun grabbing hordes.

>inb4 kill yourself
>inb4 leave the state
>inb4 you're retarded do it yourself

Rifles with bullet buttons are now illegal. Go featureless or register your bullet buttoned rifle as an assault weapon, which must be turned in upon your death

Illegal to loan guns to friends and family members without a bg check

All grandfathered magazines over 10 rounds must be turned in or destroyed

BG check mandatory to buy ammo, no online sales, no buying of ammo from out of state

Stupid shit like that. Not that any of us are going to comply. I'm driving over to Nevada or Arizona to grab my magazines and ammo. Fuck the Bay Area democrats.
>>
What about reloading components?

Can I just put one of those Jude's grips on and go featureless to ditch the bullet button?

Thanks a million

What's the penalty for non-compliance?
Prison? Fines? NFA-violation equivalent?
>Turned in upon your death
For real?
>>
>>31346020
The SCR and the Mini 14 are still good to go though.
>>
>>31346169
For the assault weapons thing, basically 10+ years in prison plus a gigantic fine. Which is fucking ridiculous when you find out that they're pushing for Prop 57, which like Prop 47 downgraded the penalty of a lot of crimes, so that means there's going to be tons more violent criminals running around. For example, Prop 57 will make the attempted murder of a peace officer fall under "nonviolent felony" classification. So there goes any reason to comply with these asshole lawmakers.

With registered assault weapons, they cannot be transferred unless to a specially licensed dealer. So that means when you kick the bucket you cannot hand them down to your family. It's basically a de facto confiscation albeit one that takes a while to kick into effect. Not that I trust the bay area democrats that control our state to just go full retard and start ordering the cops to seize them.

>>31346109

They haven't gone after them. Yet.

I'm sorry man, but if you aren't out in the street with your AR slung over shoulder protesting that than you may as well turn in all your firearms now.

They're trying shit like that in MA
We will not stand down
>>
>>31346331
Been hitting the rallies and getting more people to register to vote just to sign the petitions.

Good for the people of MA. Along with the people in NY, CO, and CT who have refused to comply and register.
>>
>>31346061

My question is how much they'll eventually push this. Start regulating ammo allowed in the state under environmental BS, ban calibers that were used for military purposes past or present? (LEO exempt, of course)

Handguns and pretty much anything other than a .22 single shot are going to be classified as a baby murdering assault weapon at this rate.

The same Attorney General that passed the AR/AK ban is now launching a thorough investigation into Ruger and Glock in MA citing the power of her office as justification for both.

It'll be a comprehensive audit that she likely is trying to leverage to get them to stop selling in MA, being two of the most popular manufacturers of consumer firearms in the area

I hope she's impeached and run out of the state
>>
>>31346297
>attempted murder of a peace officer fall under "nonviolent felony" classification
Wow. That's a surefire way to alienate cops and keep them from enforcing anything.
>>
>>31346394
Then anytime it's convenient, let's say if you refuse to comply on something else, to arrest you and send you to jail for ten years for not complying

It gives the law a huge and easily applied death blow to anyone who would dare oppose and unconstitutional law
>>
>>31346417
Well if you look at the voter base for the democrats in the LA and Bay Area regions, it makes total sense why they are pulling this shit plus the whole gun control thing. Can't have their voter base getting shot when they're breaking into homes or getting put in prisons away forever when they shoot a LEO.

>>31346395
Geeze, talk about abuse of office. Hope you people can impeach her, though people like that deserve to get executed for the abusing of their position.
>>

She's also openly condemned trump and is very likely trying to secure a spot in the Clinton cabinet as she has publicly announced that she won't be running against Baker for Governer in 2018

She's grandstanding hardcore
It's gonna come back on her HARD

Ruger and Glock are taking it to the courts, she gonna get assraped by their lawyers.

>>31346500
There's also the prop47 where I can get 10 years in prison for an making an assault weapon by popping off a bullet button, and a goddam crook will only get a fine if he stole the same rifle from me.

A damn shame too. California has a lot going for it like the National parks, the beaches, the forests, the desert and mountains. But no, we get a whole host of retards who vote for gigantic dicks in San Francisco who then fuck up the whole state when they get to Sacramento. From people like gov. Brown, Newsome, Kamala Harris, Leland, Yee, David Chiu and more.

Bring this up;
There's a big portion of south california that has outright banned the sale and use of mineral spirits. Because it damages the air. Not the nightmare traffic of cars, but its mineral spirits and paint thinner brah!

They are doing their best to drive out businesses it would seem
>>
>>31350729
You should see how retarded the zoning laws are the bay area. They're driving out their own jobs while dramatically raising the costs of living up, then turn around and blame private businesses for forcing people out of their homes when they can no longer afford it before they spread to other parts of the state/other states.

Then they start the whole bullshit over again.

Bay area progressives are pure and utter cancer

Not like it'll change shit.

Used to live in Cali, only the idiots in the bay area would follow these laws. Everyone else just went up to Vegas or into AZ to buy all their shit and just drove back with it.

>>
>>31352756
aren't they afraid of getting in trouble with CA somehow? can somebody who knows break it down for us?
>>
>>31346395
>>31346477
It's even better, Glock is forbidden by name from selling in MA. Only police departments are allowed to have them and even then they have to be sourced out of state.

So consumer protection for something consumers cannot have legally.
>>
>>31352995
Don't think there's anything they can do for out of state retailers. If it was by mail then they can sue but since it is done face to face the state has zero ability to enforce their shitty laws outside of their state border.

I heard some state tried to ticket people who crossed state lines to get around a liquor tax by posting their cops in the parking lot of stores in the state without the liquor tax. It became a huge mess since it violated interstate commerce or something like that.
