Scored a k31 with 2 mags for $120 from a buddy that didn't want it and needed cash. Furniture is beat to shit but the bolt and bore are fucking pristine.

Since we're talkin' 'bout milsurp in here, I saw a Carcano M91 in 6.5 for about $130. It was in pretty shitty shape and had surface rust all over it. Didn't get a chance to look down the barrel because the dude behind the counter was a retard. Should I have bought it?

A 91/38, yes. A regular M91? Eh, not the worst price in the world but with the rust, probably a $75-100 gun max.

Carcanos are somewhat catching on now that Nuggets are high as shit, but they're still oddball guns with $15-20 / 20 ammo prices.

Same category as the majority of Arisaka rifles.

But if you see a 91/38 carbine for $130, go ahead and grab it. Stock is worth that by itself.
