What's a good microtech clone otf?

I too am curious...particularly how they compare to the lightning, which is acceptable quality for daily use.

They are 39.99 right now... last black friday you could of found them for 19.99 in certain colors and 1 sided blade.

I am waiting for this black friday to hopefully get a dagger style one for less than 39.99 which in my opinon kinda kills the point of getting a cheap OTF at that pricepoint.

If you want pocket carry double action, get Scarab or Ultratech clone.

If you want a larger yet single action on belt, get Halo V clone. But do not buy the marfione copies, they are shit tier clones.

I can't say how good/bad the others are, but a lot of people enjoy those three clones in particular. I kinda regret not buying a Nemesis clone instead of the marfione.

No problem. Almost forgot: be sure to ask for tool for screws. You're going to want to loctite all of them. On any of the models. For the three-dot screws, a pen tip should suffice, that's what I used. But the triangle shits on the Halo V definitely need a tool. Emphasis on DEFINITELY.

Idk. Kinda hard to miss a topic where I got mostly shit on by fellow fanatics. If I had the courage to kms, I would really like to do that, and yeah yeah, I know, exit bag. Ultratech. Lot of people I've shown these off to said they would prefer the Ultratech for edc. Personally I really like the Scarab, but eh, if Ultratech was red and Scarab was black, I'd probably agree. I just really fucking like the color red.

Yup...they are surprisingly great for edc. I've had the single and double edge, and prefer the double. I got one as my first OTF to try out before buying a microtech, and I never felt the need to upgrade. The blade is is AUS8, or comparable, and there is a bit of play. Also the handle paint wears off, so $40 is a fair price.
