Whatever you're comfortable and confident with, if they might exist bullets won't do shit, just your ability to flee and survive matters.
If they do exist and guns can kill them, something that was used in a war. A weapon that has killed before will summon the souls of war it has seen and that could possibly combat the voodoo of a skinwalker.
I'd rather have a gun that has thrown rounds down range in the heat of war against a skinwalker than a garage build AR.
