Just got my cc permit. Noe I need a gun. I just need something that can take a beating, and work well. Dirt and dust is heavy in my environment. Don't want no revolver, I was thinking of the walther ppx. I like it. Gun looks just like a fuckin robot.
Learn to shoot before you CC. otherwise you're just a liability.
As such, go to your local gunstore and fondle everything not nailed down. if you don't like how it feels and shoots, you won't carry it.
Doesnt matter what it is just make sure its a 10mm

I have one in .40a&w.
Recoil is kinda snappy, not bad, just not to my liking for a carry gun. Kinda wish I would have went with something else or At least a different caliber.

Personally a ppx seems awful large for a CCW. I've carried a Kahr pm9 for the last 3 years, it's perfect for me!
Next size up would be Shield, XDS, Glock 43, etc. All very acceptable CCW pieces. After that you're getting into the M&P compact, G26 territory. All of these still smaller than a ppx...
