Let me see your works in progress.
My 6.5 Creedmoor howa 1500.
In a mpa stock
Atlas bipod
Specwar 762 for now ( thunderbeast 6.5 ultra 7 in jail)
Waiting on scope rail and rings from Ken Ferrel.
Scope is a swfa 3-15 ffp for now. ( looking at getting a 40mm ior for xmas)
Not quite technically a work in progress anymore.
I just finished up my rmrd glock.
Was waiting g on the RTF2 frame.
The gen2 was last month's project

What trigger is that?
>>31332670
Agency on both
And thank goosnesd they are not from the new batch either.
>>31332447
I need to build a bolt gun now....
I rescued this century cetme. I am going to use a center parts kit to make it functional and put original furniture
>>31332447
That's hawt anon!
>>31332780
Total cost of that build minus scope and bipod was only about $1300.
Stock was about 850 rifle was about 500
>>31332896
You have a stamp for that son?
>>31332896
What's the eye relief like?
>>31332896
quite a rhobust rig you have there sir
got a holster?
>>31332919
Of course!
>>31332927
Not great...I'm getting ready to drill the can for some Daisy scope rings. Should help a lot!
>>31332937
Na, I just put it down the front of my pants like everyone else here in Detroit.
No picture but I have 3 lowers to finish
Working on a barrel bushing muzzle brake for my tokarev. Currently in the "sure why not I'll 3d print it" stage.
Use the 3d print to make a mould for wax.
Then do a lost wax casting.
>>31333480
Looking nice, but I think you got a spelling error.
Missing a CHA in there somewhere....
I accidentally'd the last one, but since that last one was an 80% I went with a finished receiver.
And I plan on getting go/no go gauges.
>>31335238
I just stick tape on the ends of live cartridges but gauges are probably safer.
I guess this would be the best thread to ask. What would it take to make this a reality? Would it be possible to mill a frame and slide from a block of steel or would it need to be custom forged? I figure the trigger group could be pulled straight from a 1911 and a 45 caliber barrel blank could be used. I'm not a weeaboo and haven't seen a single episode of this show but I still think that the gun's badass.
>>31335646
haha, that shit doesn't work brosephina, just buy the goddamn gauges.
>>31335742
Source?
>>31335679
Looks like a super extended long slide Coonan
>>31335646
anyone that builds and has a fucking brain.

>>31333645
Thank you, but I don't follow on the spelling thing.
>>31335821
meant for
>>31335755
>>31335821
>>31335833
Look, I found that idea online a while ago and didn't see any objections to it. Also, it's worked for me and hasn't blown up my gun.
>>31335863
There's PLENTY of objections to it.
>>31335900
Ginsboy2003 did it
>>31335679
You would mill, using carbide inserts/bits, steel that was forged.
I think you need to understand those terms a little better /k/omrade.
>>31335679
If a .357 1911 is possible, I guess there's no reason a .454 1911 shouldn't be. It would have to be Xbox Huge though.
>>31336236
Couldn't it also be forged into the rough shape of the frame, then milled the rest of the way? Or is that what you are suggesting?
>>31336294
Exactly what I'm getting at. Tons of different alloys available. Each has its purpose.
>>31336344
What about starting with a rectangular block of steel and milling that out like a billet AR?
>>31336388
Not suggested for a handgun, neither of an ARs upper or lower are subject to that much stress during firing
>>31335646
>Because we all know tape stops metal pins
>>31332347
1897 Winchester 12 gauge take down model. Trust getting started, perhaps I'll log it as I work and post for posterity.
>>31335238
I have go nogo gauges sitting in a plastic bin because I already built my rifles. I wish there was a good place to trade this kind of stuff that didn't require I deal with normie gun owners. I prefer autistic /k/ommandos.
>>31335679
The problem isn't the gun. The problem is the magazine and the fact the grip will be massive
>>31338490
Aren't the rounds rimmed? Your ammo also needs to be stacked a certain way to prevent rimlock in that case, right?
>>31336676
U wot nigga
>>31338659
Yes. The rounds are rimmed.
Notice there are only a few pistols that use rimmed rounds from a magazine. The desert eagle and the coonan.
The idea of making this gun is stupid for a bunch of reasons, ( like the balance and weight) in addition to the retarded choice of a rimmed round.
>>31339518
Rimmed rounds in a mag can and have been done successfully like you've mentioned. For a novelty gun I don't see the problem.
>>31339527
>Rimmed round
>Very powerful round beating moving parts to a pulp.
>Necessitates boat anchor sized gun.
>Necessitates fence post sized grip.
No problems here...
